Men's GT-1000 9 Running Shoes

super cushion felt in the balls of the feet. i like that its lightweight. the colors turn any man or woman into a seduced magnet and the ventilation is superior. not sure how much life the soles will get but 20 miles in they are looking good. at least 250 miles. the laces are cheap and wide which i hate and they are not long enough to do a runner's tie. however the stride feels great and is snug where it needs to be. might be narrow if you have wide feet as is the usual Asics style last. i really liked this edition of the colors.

After wearing these shoes for under three weeks, the mesh in the toe box was nearly worn through. These shoes look good, they feel good, fit fine, but the well ventilated mesh is very poorly made. I have only been walking, and have maybe 40 miles on them. I know mesh can wear, but it usually, in fact any other time before, takes months. By that time, the soles are usually well worn, too. My nails aren't sharp, nothing about them would justify this. Have had a few other versions of GT-1000s that wore well. These need a redesign.

I generally have mild pronation and a larger toe box than average, so I prefer EEE but had to take my chances on these. The toe box is a little tight but still comfortable for me. Not sure I'd run a marathon in them but they do for a few miles. The heels are a little loose for my taste, trying to adjust that with the lace position to see if it helps, but again, it's just tight enough, they are usable.Overall, I think they run pretty light for a stability shoe, I feel like I have good change of direction and I'm not stuck in that forward line mode you get with a stronger anti pronation running shoe. They are stable enough for me, as a mild pronator. The heel box feels a bit narrow and heel a bit high, so I couldn't quit push off on the start the way I can on my Brooks Ghosts.The best feature by far is the cushion. It's like running on air, Asics are the best in the business IMHO with the air ride. I like the style, and they seem to be sewn together pretty well. The materials are strong where they need to be thin where they don't. I'll give it 4 of 5, I may revise that if I can get the heel to sit right.

This is my third pair of GT-9000, and I will continue to buy these as long as they make them. I don't run too much, I average 2 treadmill runs a week for around 3 miles, but these are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn.I'm 5"8' 200 lbs and very flat footed, these are amazing!Mac

Impossible not to notice that the quality and workmanship of this pair of Asics is not what I expected. They were much more narrow than the last extra wide Asics I purchased. The price was too good and maybe that was a clue. Willing to spend double or triple for quality shoes that fit and offer the function and reliability that I have expected from Asics for years.

These shoes are very comfortable. They have a foam base that cushions your feet as you walk. The material design allows for air flow through shoe when walking, but doesn't let water in. The shoe is durable and light. I've had previous GT-1000 models and this is every bit as good.

Did really get much of a chance to thoroughly evaluate the shoe as they were terribly uncomfortable and bruised the side of my heel. Wearing 10.5 size for decades and these seemed like I was wearing a 9.5, toes literally at the front of the shoe. Very tight on sides, figured would stretch, break in, a little but there is a piece of very stiff material that runs around the back of the heal that does not move and that's what bruised my heel. I'm sure these are great shoes IF your foot fits exactly as the shoe is built otherwise there seems to be no "breaking in" of this shoe. Disappointed but ordering a size up & wide so we'll see how those do.

No son tan ligeros pero es porque el amortiguamiento que tiene es muy superior a otros tennis que he comprado. Excelente si no eres tan pro y tienes kilos de más para no lastimar tanto las rodillas

This is the second time we have purchased these trainers and the material rips. Disappointed and frustrated as we expected superior quality from a superior brand. Unfortunately not!
