I bought these for my wife for Christmas last year. She loved them. They stay sharp forever it seems.However, she noticed that one of them had a chipped tip after 4 months. I emailed the company on a Monday. They responded by Tuesday and we had a new complete set by Wednesday.Needless to say customer service is outstanding to say the least.The ceramic blades, though they stay sharp, are prone to chipping. They should not be used for cutting hard substances such as frozen items or bone. That being said, these are an excellent addition to any kitchen.

I had a ceramic knife for the last ten years that finally bit the bullet, so I wanted another one. I settled on these, and I'm not disappointed. I did chip the tip on one literally the first time using it, operator error. These knives are so very sharp, even sharper than the old one. The cutting edge is actually translucent, the material is so thin where it comes down to the edge. I chipped it cutting a block of cheese, or it may of been a thick piece of roast beef, but when it cut through the tip slammed into the platter. I bought two sets, thinking I would gift one set, but I decided against giving the other one because these are fragile, very brittle. I am an experienced user of these type of knives, and I still messed up the first time I used it. Ceramic knives are sharp, and they hold an edge almost indefinitely. My old one was still sharp, but the handle fell off after 10 yrs of constant abuse. I would recommend the Vos Ceramic Knife Set if you are aware of the drawbacks that all ceramic knives have, they break easy, just dropping one on the floor could shatter the blade.

Knives are sharp and comfortable to use.

I love the color of the knives. I love how sharp the knives are and I will continue to keep them and use them. The only problem I have with them is at the edge where the handle on the knife me the knife sticks out just a little too much and sometimes when you grip it poke your finger on that blade. I’ve not cut myself on it yet because I feel it as I’m doing it. They just need to bring the handle out a little more or bring the knife in a little more so you don’t poke yourself on the edge of it.

We put them back in their sleeve. They are fantastic. They’re sharp. They do exactly what they said. They would do definitely I would re-order them if I need them.

This was my first experiment with ceramic knives and I was pleasantly surprised when the 3-piece set arrived in a sturdy reusable case with cutouts in the foam for each knife. Each knife came with a plastic guard to keep the edge sharp. The real surprise came when I put the larger 6" chef knife to a typically difficult test: slicing a soft, ripe tomato. I was immediately impressed with how much sharper the knife was than my best attempts at sharpening any of my previous stainless steel knives; I was able to easily make 1/8" -thin slices instead of sawing and mashing the tomato into uneven, half-mangled slices. MUCH nicer presentation with the clean, even slices! The other knives in the set (Santoku and paring) were similarly exceptionally sharp and made quick work of typical kitchen cutting on smaller food items. The knives cleaned up easily (by hand - not dishwasher) and instead of putting them in my crowded knife drawer, I put the plastic edge guards back on each one and returned them to the custom cutouts in the foam-lined hinged box to protect them from possible damage by other items in my knife drawer. I was so pleased with these knives that I immediately ordered two more sets as gifts to a couple of my friends. These knives are a quality product at a good price, and topped off with Amazon's fast and free shipping, with frequent updates on product delivery status.

Okay, I rarely leave reviews, but I had to leave 5 stars. Let me help you out, don't look any further and BUY THIS SET! Let me explain.First of all, I have loved ceramic knives for several years because you can always count on them to be super sharp and everything is easier to cut using them--yes they are brittle and if you're not super careful then they chip and break, but I just know that's how they are so I usually plan to have to re buy them every so often. So when I got these knives and saw they came with a lifetime warranty I was like, "that can't be right, no way will they just replace them when they brake, they are ceramic." Well, anyway, a few months later and I had had no problems with chipping or anything until I was cutting something super hard with one and it snapped at the handle. I said, "well that was predictable, I should have known better." So I contacted the company thinking "no way will they replace this." But, they immediately responded and sent me a whole new set and within 2 days it was at my door! I was totally in shock! 10 stars for customer service! Trust me, from an avid ceramic blade user, I'm only ever buying from this company ever again! You can't ask for better value.Also, the knives themselves don't disappoint, they work great, the peeler is awesome and I love the colors. If you've never tried a ceramic blade, buy these! Trust me, you'll never go back.

Mine just arrived the other day I’ve used it a few times the larger knife and it works wonderfully. i’ve had other ceramic knives that are extremely old now and they’ve stayed sharp a long time.

I was blown away by how beautiful this knife set is. It arrived in a classy, elegant black gift box with orange silk lining. They would make a wonderful gift for someone. The set includes a really nice clear plastic knife stand to display your knives on your kitchen counter top. Mine is on the counter right beside my stove. The knives are very light, but well built and sturdy and are the sharpest knives I've ever had or used. They feel like razors, and you could probably shave with them, although I haven't tried. This is my first purchase of ceramic knives and I love how they feel and cut.All in all, I am more than pleased with this set. It is elegant, classy looking, strong, super sharp, nicely balanced and just a great addition to your kitchen tools or current knives in use. Best of all, they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY!I would definitely buy them again and highly recommend this knife set to anybody looking for high quality ceramic knives at a very reasonable price.
