Product Description This economical R95 disposable particulate respirator is designed to help provide comfortable, reliable worker respiratory protection against certain oil and non-oil based particles. From the Manufacturer 3M™ Particulate Respirator 8240, R95, is a disposable particulate respirator that is designed to help provide reliable respiratory protection of at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against certain oil and non-oil based particles. This respirator is designed for use for particles such as those from grinding, sanding, sweeping, sawing, bagging, or other dust producing/oily operations. The respirator incorporates 3M’s proprietary technology with advanced electrostatically charged microfiber filter media, which is designed for ease of breathing. An adjustable noseclip and cushioning nose foam help provide a comfortable, secure seal and helps reduce the potential for eyewear fogging. The shell is collapse resistant for increased durability. This respirator is compatible with a variety of protective eyewear and hearing protection. This particulate respirator is a NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) approved R95 respirator for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles and provides at least 95 percent filter efficiency. R-series particulate respirators can be used up to 8 hours in environments where oil aerosol is present. Breathing hazardous particles can pose a risk to your health.
