BlackHole Litter Mat 27 x 18 inch Long Cat Litter Mat

I’m using with a CatGenie which I know is hard to find reviews for and in Q&A, many don’t know what this is. It gets *most* of the CatGenie granular, but a larger size would be better. Our CatGenie has a hood. I’m having the problem others have stated about it being shipped folded and the fold not coming out. Still hoping this will resolve with time. I ordered a litter mat years ago that I thought was the same brand, but this one has larger, deeper holes. The previous one did not come folded. The old one seemed like it would be more comfortable for kitties, but this one may catch more litter/granuals. I do wish it only had one open end as I’m not always coordinated enough (especially with the fold/bend in the middle) to dump litter out of only one end.

I love the idea of this mat and the litter does in fact fall through the top foam layer well. However, it is packaged folded in half. Since this mat has quite a bit of memory, the thick foam waffle part won't lay flat and it is an inch or two above the floor in some places. The cat does not like how it then moves under him when he steps on it and he's generally a very non-fussy cat. Would have been a hit if it came rolled, but the huge bump from the fold is a bit of a deal breaker. I'm hoping the mat will flatten over time. It hasn't over the week we've had it.

Overall this works well to keep tracking down. I order two sizes for two different litter boxes and the large on came in an adequate size box. This one came folded over in a small box. I have never been able to get the fold out and so it does not lay flat and when they step on the mat it moves. One of my cats hates that is moves so avoids stepping on it. I wish they had rolled it or shipped differently as I would like the product better.

This is GREAT! This type of mat seems to collect more litter than the soft rubber type that look more like a small area rug. I have been impressed with the amount of litter trapped in the base of the mat and have noticed significantly less litter outside the area of the box from the cats walking away. I would buy this again.

This is such a nice litter mat. It’s perfect for the space that I needed it to go. But the fold down the middle will not come out no matter what I do! It looks awful and the cats don’t like stepping on this weird ridge. If not for that I would have given 5 stars.

This is a life changing product. I have my litter box in my bathroom and the last thing I want to do when I step out of the shower with wet feet is step in litter. This keeps that from happening, and it is comfortable to stand on. Thank you! I actually order one as a holiday gift for a friend.

The mat does what I expected. It catches most of the litter when my cats exit the box. The negative is that the mat doesn't lay flat as shown in the picture. It curls at both ends making it a tripping hazard.

That's it - that's all I've got...can't say it helps much yet... Still has a big bump in the middle from coming folded & cat jumps right over it...

arrived folded in half. i thought the crease would be ok but the cat didnt like it & scratched it up. i've been trying to flatten it by putting it under furniture for a few days but the crease wont go away and will be a waste of money if i cant get it to flatten. i really wanted to like this product but its driving me insane because its so expensive and useless right now
