Well designed and made, if you seek quality that’s the one for you. Expensive.

Amazing mailbox.Top screw was difficult to install due to it being inside the mailbox. Better positioning design would have been better.

High quality and looks great. Very happy with purchase.

Dislikes are no flag to alert outgoing mail and no easy was to put outgoing mail if wedged half in sometimes falls inward when mailman grabs if multiple sizes doesn’t easily hold small outgoing like postcards.Doesn’t come with a pole or 2x4 mounting mechanism. Not as large of a capacity as one would think but still pretty large so this is just an observation not a like or dislike.Like looks nice has a descent capacity for magazines as they fit without being bent as long as the mailman doesn’t stuff and bend them. Sturdy and easy removal of mail. Extra key.

The metal feels great and looks sharp. The lock works really smooth, as does the letter slot. The box was easy to put up and install. Overall very happy with it.

This mailbox is pretty flimsy. Had to return.

The mailbox arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Clearly the mailbox is made with exceptional quality. It is a bit heavy (versus standard mailbox) and aesthetically impressive. The interior is just as amazingly constructed....the hinge action alone is smooth. Definitely worth the splurge!

I received the Katanabox Hover DR mailbox this morning. This is an approximate $600AUD mailbox from Japan, a country famous for quality control of goods manufactured and exported. The attached photo is of the mail box entry slot for mail. Note that this photo was taken almost immediately after unpacking the mailbox from it's shipping box. The dent doesn't appear to effect the functionality of the mailbox and I think I can push the dent out, but for a mailbox in this price range I would expect NO obvious faults or blemishes. I think the Katanabox Hover DR will ultimately be a fine mailbox, but this is disapointing, thus the four star rating instead of five stars.
