Value/ long lasting
I have two Yorkies. They love bones. These are by far one of their most favorite ones they last a lot longer than other bones. The smell is not the worst, but does have a slight odor.

My dog loves these!
My dog absolutely loves these. They stink, but what do you expect dried bull penises to smell like? I have a medium sized dog, who is a moderate chewer. So one of these generally last two days. Sometimes just one. So they are expensive, but I don't use them daily. For my size dog, I would not give a stick any bigger than these in order to makes sure they don't ingest too much at once — which I think can cause some of the digestive issue others have expressed.

My picky stinky breath dog has devoured these
We’ve tried bone after bone and she doesn’t enjoy chewing. I wasn’t sure if there was something wrong wrong. Turns out she is just a picky princess who thinks we have a ton of money. She will keep you in business. I just subscribed and saved to these. Make bigger bags we ordered them a few days ago and are down to our last stick. Thank you!!!! Let’s make a rewards thing. Buy 10 get one free or something.

The doggo is obsessed !
I am a routine buyer of this product. My dog loves them and usually chews through them between an hour and a half and a few days, depending on how he is feeling. We prefer the longer length ones as they last longer. The price point is quite high, but worth it because of how much our dog loves them. These bones tend to be high priced no matter where you go. We usually take it away when it gets small as we get worried about him choking on it, however he has not had a problem with getting it down when he does end up eating the whole thing. He does sometimes throw it up when he swallows The last bit whole. The bones are a little inconsistent in thickness when they come sometimes the bones are really thin and sometimes they’re perfect … so better consistency would be nice, but other than that can’t quit purchasing.

Last a LONG time!
I have a pointer and a mini poodle and one of these babies will last them all day (1 each.) These are a foot long and there were 4 in the package, so I paid about the same for 4 as 1 from a pet shop so big win!! Also they are CRAZY about these!

Mixed Review
My dogs love these, my vets do not. They had concerns about cracking or fracturing teeth from bully sticks, ANY brand. We talked and compromised on my finding thinner for my mini poodle and cocker spaniel 20 and 25 lb. dogs. I had tried the 'extra thin' sticks from Nature Gnaws and the dogs inhaled them. The Poodle chewed his about 10 minutes, the Cocker destroyed hers in under 5. Not exactly what I was hoping for in the way of a chew that would last. I went hunting for a larger circumference and found these 'thin' (by product description) and thought GREAT, something in-between the extra thin and the bag I originally started with. They arrived and are the extra thin - so I have yet another bag that while usable, are still not going to provide a sustained chew session. Mind you, the original bag absolutely does. The dogs will not only chew for extended times on the standard bully stick, but they also almost always walk away from them. Unheard of for the food-driven cocker spaniel. :o)Couple points here - I did contact Nature Gnaws to ask if there was a real 'thin' or if that was a description error. They did not give a direct answer, but their answer did clearly indicate there is no 'thin' in their lineup. They sell these in:• Extra Thin 6"• Small 6"• Large 6"• Large 12"• Braided 6"• Bully Springs 6"• Bully Rings• Mixed Bully Sticks 6" (consists of varying thickness)• Mixed Bully Sticks 12" (consists of varying thickness)Being fair, Nature Gnaws is very responsive. Customer Service responded within hours of my emailing them, so that's a huge plus. They offered a refund, free stuff as well, but I was not looking for free things, I was looking for a solution. I have now tried the extra thin, small, and large (original purchase) and again, the dogs love them, but my vets are not keen on these unless they are thinner to avoid the cracking they have seen in other dogs. Again, that statement applies to any brand, my vet's hospital was not picking on any one company at all.I am not saying to buy or not - instead, my point in this thesis is that the advertised 'thin' is going to come as the 'extra thin' (and believe me, they are...) so if you were looking for something in-between the extra thin and the small, this is not it.Pros: Company is very responsive to customers. Dogs love these and the originals DO LAST. My dogs are what I would call a moderate chewer and an aggressive chewer for medium-sized dogs under 30 pounds. I would give them 5 stars on those issues. I dropped to 3 stars because of the following.Cons: The bully sticks I bought from Amazon link back to the Nature Gnaws storefront, so someone please get out there and change the description to read ‘extra thin’ and not ‘thin’. Not deceptive but not clear either. Also, regardless of varying sizes of pizzles… there is poor quality control on trimming or cutting these to a more consistent size/shape before their cooking process happens. Great that the beef pizzle is being utilized and not wasted, but a lot of work needs to happen on the quality of consistency. That said, if you are not worried about cracks, fractures and the accompanying vet bills, my dogs do love these things. My humor every time I give them one (daily) cannot help but thinking, ‘if you only knew what this really was’ then again, the dogs are probably laughing at me and thinking, ‘we are carnivores, we do not care.’Update: I recently tried again on the larger than anorexic-thin-extra-thin size and bought these: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B083713L33?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details These were are more moderate thickness, enough to give both dogs a good boredom-relieving chew session and were thin enough to keep my vets happier as well. Kudos to Nature Gnaws - the packaged bully sticks were remarkably consistent as well.Update 12.30.22: I give up on these. Ordered a few more bags since my last update, keep in mind these are just under $50 per bag, so not cheap at all. They are once again back to a thickness of measuring ¾” in diameter or more. These are advertised for small dogs – my medium size dogs struggle with them. When this last bag came in again, with ‘small’ being way too large, I attempted to return. I suppose I should not have been surprised these were unreturnable. Last update I’m doing on this, because if I buy them again, then I am just stupid.

keeps pup engaged!
My pomeranian devours one of these a day. They don't last as long as i'd expected (was thinking it might last a week or so). They also smell quite strongly but she enjoys them.

Made my dog sick
My dog has had similar chews like this and has done fine but never this brand and he threw up after chewing on one of these. No ingredients listed on the actual packaging either, had to request a refund. They smell terrible (to be expected) but they almost had a rotten smell.
