Words can't describe how gorgeous this dress is. It looks expensive. (We got it in champagne). It is antique gold satin with the champagne lace overlay and satin belt with a clip. I got size 16 for my 13 year old. Although the dress fits overall, the fact is that this style is not meant for "womanly curves", so it was way too tight in the chest area. (Her sizes are 32-26-33, 101 lbs, 5ft 1 - she wears size 16 kids or XS in adults). So if you have a flat chested girl this dress will fit. Make sure you look at the manufacturer's sizing chart, not Amazon's chart. Also the dress is very formal. It would look great on a Jr Bridesmaid or flower dress. It is too formal to be a Sunday church dress. It's a special occasion dress for sure. It is a bit too long in my opinion for girls past early childhood. It is tea-length, which means well below the knees. It can look matronly on older girls. I would have kept it for the wedding we are going to if only the chest area wasn't so tight. It makes sense, this is a little girl's dress, so it was designed with a child's body in mind. I love the brand name - Cool Cucumber. It arrived in a clear plastic bag covered in Amazon's mailing envelope. It is so beautiful - I am almost crying returning it.

A bit disappointed with the quality of this young girls dress. It's cute enough, but made poorly. Coudn't even unzip the dress when I opened it. Looking on the inside of the zipper, it was all completely loaded with threads, like when you get the sewing machine needle caught and it just stays in a spot and uses up the thread, and balls itself into oblivion. So, got out the scissors and cut away all the excess stuff, and could finally unzip the dress. Then, looking at the shoulders, one was barely held together, the stitching was coming apart already. So, for $40 and two-day delivery for a wedding, it's fine. To use that brand again, probably not.

I ordered a size eight for my nine year old daughter who is tall and slim. This dress for her perfectly! I love the fact that it is cut so that it fits under her arm without showing much skin. She loves that the inside is silky smooth and feels comfortable. I also like that the decoration on the belt is actually a pin than can be removed and worn with other items in the future. The dress arrived quickly and was packaged well.

This dress fit my 11 yr old perfectly. Purchased for a church event. She loved it; stylish & not too "little girlish" for her. I followed the recommended size based on the measurement chart. I purchased size 14. My daughter is very tall almost 5'5 and thin 24inch waist. I normally have to buy a 16 due to her height. Fell at a good length well below the knee.

This was AMAZING it arrived 5 hrs before my picture appointment. I was nervous bcs I was not sure how it was going to be, (size,color,lenght ect..) My girl is a lil fluffy and she wears size 12-14 on dresses. I order a 14 and it was perfect lil long but overall AMAZING. I LOVE this dress...

After shopping in 2 malls at 5 department stores, took a chance and ordered this for my 12 year old's fancy Christmas photo and to wear to the Nutcracker ballet. She is not a girlie girl and very particular about the fabric and how clothes feel. Anything scratchy is out. This dress fits her well, is well made, and worked for all our 2016 Christmas holiday events. I had ordered 2 dresses the year before and returned them as they were both too large. She is tall and on the thinner side, this dress looked beautiful on her. She loved it!!

Although the dress was very pretty, the zippers broke on the both of them after one use. They were used as costumes in our Annie musical and the second one'd zipper split open just as she was about to walk off stage. I am asking for a refund.

Got this dress for my niece who is going to be the flower girl in my wedding. The dress is beautiful and the ribbon can even be changed. The silver piece in the middle is a pin and can be removed. Love this dress and my niece loves it too. She said she felt very pretty!
