Tune with the hammer. Making tines longer (from the point where they are held down on the bridge) will lower their pitch, and making them shorter will make their pitch higher.

Gifted
This Kalimba was gifted to a brand new teacher,, who thanks to Covid 19, is doing virtual instruction. Truthfully, I'm not sure if she will ever play it. The plan is for her to use it as a signal to begin her 6th grade virtual classes. She can also use it occasionally for management, keeping the learning environment positive. The only reason for 4 stars for easy to learn is because I have no idea. It may well deserve 5 stars.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas as a surprise because she has been watching you tube videos on this , and she absolutely loved it ! great sturdy quality and the storage bag is perfect to store away when not in use. definelty a must.

Super cute and easy to learn!
It's a nice and inexpensive little instrument. Started playing it right when it arrived and it was all in tune. It comes with a tunning hammer and a little pouch. Also the design is super cute!

Beautiful and easy to play with but...
When I received the Kalimba there was some rough marks and the keys crooked but other than that, it's really pretty ^.^
