This particular pocket door closer and lock is expensive but it is very functional and good looking as well. For many of us, the usual pocket door lock that you might find at a big box store is not particularly easy to use, especially if you have big hands. This particular opener is deep enough that you can slide the door easily with it. It is also easy to lock with the latch.

I'm a handyman and decided to install all the hardware in my house. I installed 8 doorknobs and then started working on these. The screws that connect the two handles together were not threaded correctly and I ended up going to the home center to get the correct screws. The bolt that is on a spring to make it easy to pull the door closed sits proud to the strike plate which is annoying. I would think for paying $50 bucks I had spent enough money to get a good quality lockset. If you are picky and want a good return on your money skip this and go with something more expensive.

I purchased this and item was defective had a bit of trouble returning as it was a third party. I asked for a replacement and then they cancelled my replacement and gave me a refund. I would have like to have received a replacement

I ordered a locking not a passive also this thing isn’t even the right color. Check your package and make sure you get the right crap don’t wait until you hang your door. Now I have to eat the cost of this thing

It looks ok but It doesn’t have a good place to hang on to when you pull to shut the door. Would not buy it again.

Has a nice finish/look, but the locking mechanism doesn’t open to become a functional lock.
