Perfect fit for 2020 trx420fm2

I installed this on my 2022 Honda Rubicon to work with a Harbor Freight Badlands 3500. It works great, but it was a little work to put on. Be sure to keep the bolts loose as you are putting the bumper back together and then tighten them all when finished. Will also help to have a floor jack to hold everything in place as you’re putting nuts on bolts.

I put this on my 2020 Honda Rubicon and it fit exactly like it was supposed to. Definitely took some encouragement to lign up the bolts through 2 pieces but went in just fine. I put a 3500 badlands winch on it and I will say it's probably the biggest you can fit I have very little clearance for anything bigger to go on it. You will have to trim some plastic for the winch to sit with the position that the plate puts it in, but looks very good and sturdy and has held up great so far 👍

The winch mount for my 2022 Honda Rubicon was very sturdy and had a good finish; however, it would not fit my bumper as it came. The paperwork included said it was the correct mount but there was no stamping on the mount itself to confirm. Once the first bolts were loosely put in place, there was over a one inch distance for the other two bolts to align. I contacted customer support and was told that Honda tolerances are often to blame and that using enough force would get them to align. Say what you want about Honda, +/- one inch tolerances is not an issue. I was also told that I might be putting it on upside down. This was not the problem.No wanting to ship the mount back and considering I already had the bumper off, I decided to bend the plate myself. Being a machinist and having access to protractor and very large machinist vise, I was able to reduce the angle of the plate by nearly eight degrees. This allowed me to finally get the remaining bolt holes to align.I don’t know where the problem lies, but without my machinist background and the proper tools, I would have never made that mounting plate fit.

Had to wrestle with reassembly but got it together on my 2022 Honda Foreman.

It’s a PITA to install and you may have to move some winch or fairlead holes.

This was easy to install. It fit the Honda perfectly.
