Columbia Women's Switchback Lined Long Jacket

I will be using this while om an Alaskan cruise hopefully it keeps me dry. Nice and lightweight but still warm at the same time. Lots of color options, very vibrant colors. Nice size pockets that zipper close.

I like the warmth and waterproofness of this jacket. I like the length since I’m tall it covers my rear end. I like the fact that it’s lightweight. The pockets are sides zipped. It’s very versatile and stylish.

Just arrived. Very nice coat. I’m a big girl (3X). Fits me well with some room to move around. Love the lining. Warm but not too warm. Very soft. Folds up very nicely. Can’t wait to wear in the rain.

This is a nice, warm water resistant jacket. The description says waterproof, but the Columbia website says it is only water resistant. "This long jacket can handle day-long drizzles with a water resistant nylon shell and soft fleece lining." The sleeves are not elastic, but they are adjustable. The sleeves are really long on me, but I'm 5'1" and curvy and ordered a Large to fit my chest and hips but that's kind of par for the course for me.

I was looking for a lightweight jacket to wear in Florida on 3 to 5 mile outdoor walks. This jacket is the perfect weight to break the wind, repel light rain and stay warm on cool mornings and evenings. I think it’s also a nice summer weight rain jacket. The fit is fine but as others have mentioned, the sleeves are long and the velcro straps are not as perfectly positioned for a tight fit around the wrists to hold the sleeves above the hands but, its long enough to cover the bum I’m trying to walk off and it fits well over my hips and it zips without being too snug. It’s a lined windbreaker/raincoat-the inner lining is more to keep moisture away from your skin than add warmth. It’s exactly what I was looking for and it’s the third Columbia jacket I’ve purchased. All are thoughtfully designed and well made.

I bought this jacket running on the fly, and it was at a clearance price that I could not resist. It arrived and the jacket is perfect! Excellent quality, fits well and looks even better. I wore it in the rain and it works! Highly recommended.

Very lightweight, but keeps you warm. Like that it’s long. I would say it runs a bit large, so order your usual size if you’re thinking about layering. Overall, great purchase.

I usually wear a large and ordered the XL so I would have room for layers and it was perfect. 5’7” 190 lbs. it fully covers my bum too. I like the light lining. It’s NOT a winter coat. But it was perfect for our summer Alaskan cruise where it was 50-60 degrees and windy.

I love this jacket. It is lightweight enough to wear in the warmer weather but keeps me nice and dry. I can easily roll it up and stuff it in my back pack and although it comes out wrinkled (probably wouldn't if I didn't shove it in there like a kid and actually folded it) it straightens back out quickly. Pockets are great and I like that they have zippers so I don't have to worry about things falling out. I have long arms and the sleeves are the perfect length. Would definitely recommend.

I bought the Black Columbia jacket in a 2xl. It is long and comes just below my butt. It has a soft fabric lining, which I was worried would stick to my cardigans underneath or make me too hot. I worried needlessly, the jacket goes on and off easily and I find the lining more comfortable if I am just wearing a blouse or t-shirt underneath. I carry my weight around my middle but the jacket zipped up without any issues and hangs really well. I highly recommend this rain jacket.
