This guitar is ready to go. The techs at Ibanez are right on it. The action is near perfect and it sounds great. This is a no brainer for a novice or experienced guitarist.

It’s very decent
I bought this a month into learning the guitar after using an old one my brother had. To say it’s a bad guitar would be a blatant lie, it’s been good for me for the last 10ish months I’ve had it. It sounds good and was easy to play out of the box. The only issue that I experienced was some buzzing on some of the frets but it could’ve been due to personal damage I dealt to the guitar on accident. I believe that if you are a beginner that want to learn by playing on a nice looking and comfortable guitar then I’d recommend buying this. Also, if you’re just starting out and think it’s too hard to play or learn, just think that if it was easy everyone would do it. That saying alone is the reason why I haven’t been able to put down the guitar since starting. It’s a fun instrument to learn

Best budget guitar hands down.
Ibanez has hit it out of the park with this budget line. In the last few months I have purchased 3 budget guitars. Jackson dinky (3.5 out of 5) firefly Lp (2.5 out of 5) and this Ibanez grg - 5 out of 5. Frets are perfect(need a polish), 5 way select tone. Solid build. Fret board is the best I played in years. 25 years playing experience. WOW this is so good. Just get it. Great for drop tuning.

The guitar over all has a great sound just the finishing touches aren't there. Edges were jaged or sharp but still a good guitar

Awesome guitar, can't go wrong with ibanez... Perfect for the price, beginners or professional, this guitar gets the job done. Beats the $400 fenders with ease. And this is coming from a lp player, jus wished they had a floating trem in this style. Which they probably have out by now.
