I bought this to stop my cat from waking me at 5am. I had seen a lot of similar feeders on Amazon, but chose this one due to the positive reviews. I was concerned about a few things and here is what I found out after trying the product.1) Was it going to jam? No, the feeding mechanism works smoothly and there are instructions on how to clear it if it does jam for some reason.2) Was the audio recording loud and clear? Yes to both. It was so loud, I had to step back and take another recording in case it woke the entire house up too!3) Was it going to be easy to program? Yes, there is a pamphlet included in the box with illustrations on how to program the feeding times4) Is it easy to clean? Yes, the bowl detaches easily.5) Are the portion sizes accurate? Yes, I set it on F-3 for my cat and it's been consistent every day.6) Can the cat paw at the chute opening for more food? The kibble chute is low enough that there isn't room for the cat to reach under.7) Is the top secure? It does click into place, but if you have a large cat, you may want to tape it.It's a nice sturdy feeder and worked perfectly the first time. I had a question about the blue light and emailed the company - they responded in one day. [yes, the blue light stays on when plugged in]. When I first plugged it in, it was presenting a red error light, but it turns out that was because I had no food in the bin and it was a "low food warning." That's a nice feature too.All in all, I'm very please with this product and can recommend it for someone looking to make their cat feeding schedule a bit easier.

I bought this as I was having multiple issues with our old machine. My cat was able to get her paw into the old machine dispensing hole or shake the machine to get more kibbles in the middle of the night. The old one also would skip some servings and the clock would become incorrect overtime.This machine was easier to setup, it's easy to clean up as the bottom tray pulls out. My cat cannot put her paw into the dispensing hole. It serves on schedule. Portion sizes are accurate and very easy to setup.The top cover doesn't have a locking mechanism so I put some tape as preventive measure. For some reason, my cat is happy with this machine and hasn't try to break-in since I got it few months ago.I like that the light changes when the food level is low. It was a bit too bright for me so I put some duct tape to lower the brightness.

The media could not be loaded. Update: I've had this feeder for 6 months and it is working great! Kitty knows when food is about to come and she runs to the machine! I'm very satisfied and would recommend this product!I WAS HESITANT ON GETTING AN AUTO FEEDER: because well...I'm cheap! Lol But I thought about it and I knew I had to get one to always make sure she is fed when I'm gone.NO WIFI OR APP: I like that feedings are directly programmed into the unit. I saw many feeders in my search-some fancy using wifi and an app. That didn't work for me because I thought "what if the power goes out or the app crashes?" I wanted an "in house" programmable unit to remove issues. It came down to 2 and I went with this model because it offered a larger number feedings.PROGRAMMING FEEDINGS: is pretty simple, use the directions. And the portions sizes are good, it takes a little measuring to know how much your baby needs but once its done its done!BATTERY BACKUP: Its all programmed and if the power goes out or its unplugged it reverts to battery back up and saves all the programs you entered. Sure its D batteries but whatevs.THE PRICE POINT: for it is decent (could be a little lower). But the trade off is ease of use.EASY TO WASH: I washed it before using it and it was pretty easy to clean and take apart.ONE NEGATIVE: The only ONLY negative I have is that the food is LOUD when hitting the tray. Not really controllable because its plastic. And its not so noticeable unless its pin drop quiet - that sound will startle you. I'm thinking of a way to soften it maybe with a rubber pad or napkin or something. But that's just the one thing.Overall, I really like the product and would recommend it!

We often leave our cat alone for a few days and I worry like crazy. With this device at least I know he is going to be properly fed. When we're around we just use the manual feed option (two presses on the down arrow to dispense a bit of food) and don't use the timer functionality.He hasn't managed to break into it (not for lack of trying!) and the portion sizes are sensible - it seems like the P-1 setting is about 10g of normal crunchies. You can set up 6 different meals per day with different quantities of food and so far it's worked flawlessly. There is a backup battery option in case you get a power cut but I haven't tried that out as it seems unnecessary for where I live. There is also an option to record an audio message but I haven't tried that either - seems gimmicky.The only minor annoyance I have (and it is minor) is that I can't find a quick way to switch off the timed feeds when we get back - so I end up just doing a hard reset and resetting the clock.

I have had this device for around 1 1/2 years for my cat. The key features for me are the battery backup if you lose power it still works. The red notification light when low on food. The recording for feeding time, my cat instantly knows food is ready. It’s also very customisable with portion sizes and multiple feed times. I only use 4 of the 6 schedules. The frustrating elements are minor. Time does not auto correct for daylight savings , so you will have to adjust, but this process is super simple. Depending on food morsel size will determine the qty of food dispensed per portion, but it’s rare I would change food type so no problem. There may be other available products with Bluetooth and cameras, but this hasn’t let me down once so I wouldn’t consider trading more features and possibly losing out to poor build quality. One of my best pet purchases to date.

We bought this 5 days ago and it has honestly CHANGED OUR LIVES. Our cat Ozzy was shouting constantly for food before and now he’s a much happier purry boy in just a few days. He’s already learnt the recording of ‘GET IN MY BELLY’ means food is about to come out and he waits for food to come out of the machine when he’s hungry, rather than jumping on us when we’re asleep. It looks sleek and modern and is easy to set up. Even hungry hungry Ozzy (who is on special diet food because he’s a chonky boi) can have the correct amount of food at 4 hour intervals. Probably the best thing we’ve ever bought.

Fab product. Had for about 6 months. Reliable and easy to use.
