Really like the many types of flowers & botanicals that I will be able use in embroidery work. So glad I bought this lovely book.

I love this book on several levels. It's divided in to chapters for separate subject matters. The pictures of the embroidered flowers look very professional and are fun to just look at! I love that one section has the flowers, one section has the outline of each flower along with the colors used to create it, and yet another section devoted to giving the DMC corresponding number for the Olympus floss used to create the flowers. A great deal of thought was given to planning out how to present this book, obviously; it shows. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a book to gain inspiration from. I love to create my own samplers but can't draw at all, so anything created in my head will stay in my head, for the most part. At 73, my head is already very crowded, so it's nice to have a way to get this stuff out of my head and on to linen! I will now be able create a sampler using various flowers printed on transfer paper and then ironed on to linen. Thank you...this book is exactly what I've been looking for!

I'll start this by saying I have no experience with embroidery. There are picture guides to the stitches and it's enough to keep me going but some of the directions don't make sense. I've found much easier ways to do some of the stitches, like a chain stitch, that doesn't require so much manipulation of the fabric like these directions require.Over all they're nice ideas to get you started emboridering plants. And nice starts on basic stitching. I enjoy the purchase.

Have not done embroidery in some time, but enjoy the feel of doing handwork so back at it. Veery helpful in pictures as well as drawings

Very cute little designs.I like the fact that different pages are done by different designers, so there are lots of different styles shown.Small one-day projects, with very easy stitches.The book has both colored pages, with photographs of the actual stitched-up patterns, then in the back, pages with stitch plans (describe what stitches to use where) and blank outlines (for tracing onto your own fabric).

What a delightful find returning to embroidery after 40 years. This book has so many beautiful flowers to embroidery shown in color then as a pattern, with simple diagrams on how to make the stitches. Exactly what I needed to remember and reignite my old passion with my current love of gardening.

Every flower I can imagine is in here. There are templates and examples and a color/stitch guide to follow. I love this book!

Amazing! I can't recommend this book enough. I am a complete beginner and I've already done 4 designs from this book that all turned out pretty okay. Great instructions, beautifully done, easy to follow for beginners.
