Great taste, quick preparation, Works to reduce cholesterol
I love this oatmeal. It tastes great and is organic (I don't need chemicals like grysopholate in my cereal). It's a great base for added cinnamon, berries (fresh or dried) and/or banana, and walnuts. The added plant sterols along with plant sterol gummies on the days I don't have oatmeal for breakfast have dropped my LDL 7 points in a year with no other changes.

Good oatmeal!~
As much as this is very expensive, it supposedly has added benefits over regular oatmeal....I generallybuy Bob's Red Mill GF, organic thick oats and I have to say I like them a bit better than Lessman's oatmeal.I found Lessman's oatmeal to be gummier than the Bob's Red Mill and when I finish this container I thinkI want to go back to my Bob's Red Mill simply because I like that it's got a chewier texture and a deeperoat-y flavor...I found the Lessman oats a bit bland, although they tasted fresh and cooked up fairly quickly.....I wasn't looking to lower my cholesterol but I kept hearing Andrew Lessman talk about his oatmeal and oat bran which made me want to try it... I eat oatmeal almost every day for breakfast and comparing two brands, I prefer Bob's Red Mill.

Excellent Quality
As I person with Type II diabetes, I have to watch the type of carbs I consume to avoid high post-meal blood sugar spikes. I prepare a bowl of this or Oat Bran, with 1/4 tsp of Ceylon cinnamon, 1 TBL of almond butter or a few toasted walnuts, 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries, and 1 TBL of flaxseed powder. My post-meal numbers run a steady 120. Walk an hour after eating will lower your blood sugar numbers even more as low as 70, but it must be at 40 to 60 minutes.

Very Tasty, As Well As Healthy
I start almost every day with this. I love that it is healthy, non-gmo, and gluten-free. Living in MN, it is great to have a hot breakfast. Fresh blueberries are a favorite topping.During the nation-wide stay at home, th shelf life is an added bonus. I will be good well beyond the 12-18 months to develop a vaccine. ๐
