Love me some wolf shifters and vamps!
I started the spinoff series first and had to stop and go to this series so I would know all these characters and their back story. I really fell for the spinoff so I knew I would love this one. It took me a bit to warm up to some of these characters, but they definitely redeem themselves in book 2 even more ❤️I connected with Lexi right away, I still want to know her previous life. There have been a lot of hints but nothing that explains her trauma. I hope we get that in book 2 or 3. I love wolf shifters, not always a huge fan of instant-love, so I liked how this story was a slow burn, where the relationships needed to develop and everyone wasn’t right out the gate I love you haha. I am intrigued by what Lexi is and how things are going to affect the world with the events that happened at the end of this book! I am so glad this series is complete or else I would have thrown my phone or earbuds across the room haha.I love the student/teacher trope, and I cannot wait to continue to listen to book 2 because of how things were progressing with them, I loved how adorable Maverick was despite his tough exterior. Total teddy bear (and loved his reveal towards the end 🥵😍🔥). Raff was adorable as well with his naivety but instinct to protect Lexi. I can’t wait to see the guys accept him and he gets to experience more love/a family because of the hints from his bad upbringing, he deserves a happy ending. And Ranger is on my bad list. I am not sure I could handle him. He seems to be super immature and can’t control himself. He doesnt really bring comedic relief, but more of others making fun of him/Lexi putting him in his place haha. He needs to earn his way back after all the crap he has put them through. I absolutely can’t stand Nash or Alaric, they seem to be horrible people and shifters, just saying. I am liking some of the other side characters/family, can’t wait to see who goes to which female for the various spinoff series haha.Narration was done well, I like to 1.6X speed and that sat perfectly with these 2 narrators. I thought they did a good job bringing all the emotion, all the tension and conflict. The anger/frustration/sadness/etc. I have listened to this duo before and they do a great job. No complaint that its dual and not duet, I don’t mind their renditions of the opposite sex characters. 4.5 stars from me.I instantly bought the next audiobook after finishing this one, I needed to know what happened and I am so stuck in this story, I don’t want to get out. Already halfway through book 2 and it gets better and better with each book 😊

Family
-Paranormal romance-shifters-vampires-why chooseHey, I know this book got a lot of bad reviews, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. It's kind of like Twilight, but I liked those books. The story moves really fast and it's hard to put down. The main character is a total badass. She's been through a lot in life, but she still has a good heart. I also like the male characters. They're all trying to figure out their lives just like she is. There's a set of twins, another foster guy, and a hot vampire teacher. The book has action, romance, and some really sweet moments.

Pretty good
Honestly, I love this book. It kept you guessing and I'm still guessing. Can't wait until she's of age so maybe we can see what she actually is in the supernatural world. Author had me hooked!

Reverse Harem New Girl Paranormal
Lexi is on the run. She is a foster child but has run away for reasons we don't know yet. Of course, she gets caught, but there are curious references, like what she is and info about her past, that we are missing. Rafferty is also a curious story as he comes into the story at the same time Lexis's world is changing. She has some strange encounters at her new school, and I need help figuring out where the author is going with this story. However, I do like its unpredictable nature. Galen, the teacher's POV, and his being a vampire finally add a paranormal explanation to this story. If this story is a teacher/student romance, it will be very strange. All the men in the story are weird: Maverick, Ranger, Raf, and especially the teacher. This book has some bully romance vibes, with the shifters from one pack targeting the outcast Shifter and wanting to mate with Lexi simultaneously. But the boys are brutal in this book in how they behave. So, the Paranormal World Shifter's secret is now out to Lexi, but you still need to learn what she is. Oh, the Twilight references come into play. So far, this book could be more thrilling. Things become more normal between Lexi and Ranger and intimate with Raf, but the story has yet to end. His story ends with almost a reverse harem, but more must be determined. There were little enemies to lovers themeing with her and a few certain men in the storyline. It was an okay read, but it could have been better. We never did discover why she was different. The men did get along by the end of the book, but her mystery was never solved. I'm not interested in reading the series further.

Good book, terrible cliffhanger
I like this book, it's an interesting world of shifters, vampires, and other types that humans don't know about. It felt slightly rushed, I think the whole book takes place in less than three fast paced weeks. Lexi is a very strong FMC with a dark past that gets alluded to a lot but no specifics. It's a slower burning RH and I'm not actually sure how many guys she might have. At least four, maybe more. It ends very abruptly with a character in the middle of possibly dying. I hate those types of cliffhangers and deducted a star for that. There are a few typos, not bad. The characters are fairly individual and seeing the interactions and progression is good. So far, it's more character driven, but I have a feeling that may change as more gets revealed.

spell binding
First book is actually really well spaced out. The FMC is amazing, spicy, and full on gives zero poops. Can't wait to see where this story goes next! Find me in the next book review! Dang that's what I call an awesome cliffhanger!

I couldn't put it down
It's been a while since I read a book in one sitting. I've been bored to tears with the stories lately, but this book was refreshing.Nothing was fast, and I liked how the story developed. I think world building could use some more investing, and I didnt like how Grayson and Jack were pretty much forgotten, however, it was an excellent read despite this.

Great start to a good story
Enjoyed this first book of the series, well worth a read. Looking forward to the second book. Well written and good characters.

It was okay
So, it was a bit cheesy at times. That maybe because the main plot is romance based than anything else. The characters needed more depth I feel. Despite that, the start of the story was quite different than the usual shifter romances. That was what got me interested to keep reading.

Sexy. Intriguing. Heated.
“Having your cake and eating it too” has never felt so good. This book was so good, I couldn’t put it down. This is the second book I’ve read with a polyamorous relationship, and I’m really liking it. I love how it’s a little twist on the traditional love triangle trope and is also enjoyable to read.Twice Bitten has some amazing characters, and although it’s mainly told in Lexy’s POV, the few chapters we get in some of the guys’ POV are really good too.We get some steamy scenes with our main character and her guy(s), and I feel like it moves very organically.

Amazing start
This was an amzing start to a new series, which I devoured in one go. It is definately on the more young adult side in terms of sexuality but the story was great and really intriguing. Lexi and Rafferty were great from the start but also the other ones were really interesting and I can't wait to read more about them and their whole relationship in the next books. I can highly recommend it.
