Please read the book I wrote below, I love this knife
This is my first review of any amazon product. I usually don’t take the time to leave a review, but I’ve looked pretty meticulously for over 3 months researching. The best value for the money, best steel, most reliable gentleman carry knife. At an affordable price point, first I was looking for something that I could easily open with one hand and I have large hands. I’m 6’5” and use large to XL gloves this is my review of the Harnds Wind transparent/jade g10 knife. This knife at first seems small, but that is as designed, holding with the clip shown In my review is how I one hand open this knife. I bought this knife in the g10 jade, because it looks very much like real jade from a distance and draws no real attention as a “tactical” knife would (black blade,handle, serrations, etc.). I wanted something very unassuming and for a knife less intimidating. My main concern with this knife initially was the clip, but to my surprise it has never once slipped when the clip is fully seated in my Pocket. . I’ve Carried this in, jeans, thin workout attire, underwear, and even in a suit coat pocket and swim trunks... This is one of my favorite knives for the pure aesthetic. The transparent G10 under darker lights seems more green/blue. But under direct light from a fluorescent or halogen light it seems to carry more of a transparent/blue-green hue. What really attracted me to this knife, compared to CRKT, GERBER, BUCK ETC. The contrast of the jade G10 and the blue ring at pivot point. Most knives generally from a distance all look the same and are ubiquitous... I wanted something different something that was unique. That fact in itself has brought me to the conclusion I will be carrying this knife as EDC. I do not foresee this knife failing anytime soon, I do not use my knives lightly. As much as I care about the appearance, it must serve its functions as a tool as well. The blade came sharp out of the box, the tip is very sharp and I was able to use the tip itself to slice paper with little effort. So be aware this knife is very sharp and very low profile. This also is not something I feel in my pocket while wearing thick pants, i do not feel the handle rubbing on my thigh but you can feel the security of how the clip is seated and secure. I view it as an extension of my pants and is very unobtrusive. It is not too light that it will be completely unnoticed, but the strength you feel when you get this knife in your hand cannot compare the quality of others at this price point (under 50 dollars) that I’ve ever witnessed. The steel is hard and It holds an edge very well. The sandivick steel is no titanium but, the build quality, smooth locking, small flipper knife that is quite frankly very pleasing to the eye. Is perfect for the gentleman looking at something very sharp in aesthetics as well as practicality. I would recommend this knife to anyone in a state that has length restrictions as this knife is JUST under 3 inches. Or wants a unique look, and very classy high end appearance without the high end price point this is the knife for you.I was very reluctant to buy this as there are barely NO reviews compared to other knife models and brands out there. I’m simply a gentleman looking for something to use as the constant annoyance of dull steak knives is quite... sad. So that’s where this little guy comes in... If you keep this sharp as I have, you can easily slice through over an inch of tough steak with little to no effort even without any serrations. I have no doubt in my mind that I can put my life behind this tool coupled with my training/experience. The same time as I was looking for something as a gentleman, I wanted a reliable and effective tool for any and all situations. This is the best 30+ dollars I’ve spent on a knife in over 4 years. Value, quality and utility, I would give this knife a 5/5. I do not see in any way there could be an improvement. This is a very well thought out and useful tool.

Excellent-Five Stars is not enough;
Fit, finish, detent, action, are all superior as is the steel! It is a joy to flip her!Not used to batton redwoods, this little, exquisite, tool, will glide through normal EDC tasks during the course of a day while remaining a beautiful knife to carry. The pocket clip is more than adequate and the weight of the knife is not noticable during carry.Although this is easily a "gentleman's knife" it would be equally ideal as a " gentle woman's knife.The steel is one of my favorites which will take and hold a keen edge for quite awhile and which is easily stripped, or, if needed, sharpened to restore a razor edge on the blade.I, most highly, recommend this knife to anyone interested in a superior knife at a modest cost for what you get!

The value is great!
I bought two of these in different colors. One is much easier to open than the other is the only reason for 4 stars. The knife came fairly sharp and I like the colors. I use this at work for opening boxes mostly. Since covid I've actually used it to cut up food at work since I don't eat out anymore.

Great EDC Knife that ticks all of the boxes
This knife has some amazing features for the money and some that are hard to find in knives that are even 4-5x the cost.- Good blade steel and profile- G10 handle- Ball bearing hinge- Great "pen-style" pocket clip (this is the only knife I've ever seen this on and it is fantastic)- Reversible pocket clip (this is great for lefties or those who want to left-front-pocket carry the knife safely)- The perfect amount of jimping on the back of the blade- The back of the blade is beveled and smoothed so it doesn't wear away at your pants by rubbing- Great low-profile flipper stud with the perfect balance of grip, small size, and smoothnessThis is an astoundingly refined knife at this price-point and an absurdly high quality and value. I feel embarrassed about buying some name-brand knives recently that were more expensive and are worse in literally every way.The only thing I don't like is the blue accent circles on the hinge. I might sand them off. But if that's the mostnit-picky thing I can come up with, you know this is a great knife. I'm tempted to buy one or two more in case they stop making it.

Classy, no-nonsense EDC
Very nice EDC overall; for pocket carry, most knives have tradeoffs. This knife has fewer than most. First, the folded length and thickness are ideal for my slightly smaller than average size hand. And yet it is not too thin or short to function great. The blade came wicked sharp, slicing a piece of paper to pieces in seconds. Easy and quick to sharpen, too.Blade deployment is smooth and fast, and readily walks itself closed. I wasn’t sure at first about the yellow scale color, but I ordered it anyway to have more variety of color. Glad I did - when it arrived, it immediately presented with a “I’m different but very cool” type of vibe.Lastly, the clip is as good as other reviewers suggested. So good that it is one of the knifes’ strengths, rather than an afterthought like on so many other budget-friendly EDCs.Harnds is a serious contender in this segment. The quality of materials, fit and finish, and the make-no-apologies functionality are right on the money. Highly recommended!
