I love the purple color!I’ve owned many Oster Classic 76’s over 44 years of being in the hair business.My only complaint is that it is only a one speed and the cord seems shorter than my past Oster 76 clippers.

I had my Wahl for almost 15 years and got great use out of them. It was time to replace those and my son's hair is extremely thick. The Wahl's struggled to make the cut and took several passes when cutting his hair although they still did alright with mine (no argument here that a good sharpening would have helped). I LOVE this Oster. I wanted a high end professional grade clipper system and that's exactly what this is. I didn't want some crappy lithium battery system that turns to trash in 6-18 months when battery fails either. These are just solid quality. They are a beast. They slice right through my son's extremely dense hair and the clipper guards are much more durable then the Wahl's. I love the spring locking mechanisms on them as well. (hint: for the reviews who say they are very hard to take on and off, disregard those, it is very easy, you just have to gently push on the side that has the spring. (Those people are pushing on the wrong side, hahaha) If I could say there is a downside it would be that these are heavier then the Walh's. To me this isn't a downside, they are a beast and solid and durable. The weight comes with quality and they are still easy to use. Buy with confidence.

I have used Oster clippers for almost 20 years. I'm a hair stylist and they have always been my go to. These clippers were fine at first, but after a month the motor started seizing. At first I thought it was because my client had thicker hair, but it kept happening! They don't cut evenly because of the motor glitching. I have oiled and greased them properly in hopes of this changing. It has not! I am extremely disappointed and unhappy. This issue started happening just after the return window expired from Amazon. I have had issues getting a hold of the seller directly to discuss this issue. I am very frustrated and as of right now I will never do business with this seller again.

He said it's ok for gentle use but not for daily use in a shop. Had it 3 months already wearing out.

The artwork on them is very blurry especially on the front and back but that's my only issue and it's a small one. The most important thing is that these clippers are better than great! They might be pricey but totally worth it. I bought them for my bf cuz he has thick hair and goes thru cheap clippers like crazy and these will last him a very long time. The best quality, they cut amazingly, feel better holding them and easier to use than other brands we've had. These will now forever be the only brand we buy!

Wow, fantastic product. I've been using lower end clippers with plastic guides forever, replacing them every couple of years. I decided it was time to upgrade and found Oster to be a good fit. What a difference a professional product makes. It took me less than half the time it used to with my old clippers. I grabbed a few varying size blades to go along with the Classic 76 and I'm all set. Great colour and quick shipping as well. I wish I would have done this many years ago.
