Delicious quality Cheese
A perfect Red Leicester cheese. Such a contrast to other English cheeses, mellow yet quite strident with a moreish taste. On crackers is how I prefer my cheese but this also makes wonderful sandwiches. A regular but for me now!

A delicate, nutty flavoured hard cheese.
One of my favourite hard cheeses.Red Leicester is a hard cheese, with the consistency of cheddar.It has a subtle, nutty flavour.It's made with cows milk, salt and rennet.The orange colour comes from Annatto.As a hard cheese, it clearly has a high fat content. 34.5% with 21.6% being saturates.Salt is quite high too at 1.8%. So be aware.As with all diary cheeses, protein is good and high at 24.9%.Carbohydrates and sugars are, to all intents and purposes, nil. (Both are 0.1%)Red Leicester makes a wonderful melting cheese, so is perfect on toast or used as a pizza topping or on top of a potato dish.The cheese I received had 2 months until the best before date.Overall, this is one of my top 3 cheeses.I always have some in the fridge.I hope you found this review helpful.

I use this on sandwiches and to grate and use in coking, i really like it is mild and easy to cut, in greaseproof paper and good price
