Ester-C Vitamin C, 1000 mg, 60 Coated Tablets (Pack of 2)

Ester C is the best to reduce stomach irritation commonly related to large dozes of Vitamin C. Furthermore its wonderful for my skin, and to ward-off colds! It cost more but if stomach irritation is a problem for you its worth every penny. Its great as a supplement for improving symptoms related to my auto-immune disease-Graves Disease.

For those of us that do not always get enough Vitamin C in our diet, this brand is the easiest on the stomach. The pills are a little larger than most vitamins. I have been taking this for over 20 years. It keeps a healthy immune system. I highly recommend this brand.

I love this vitamin C because of how efficient it is (you get 1,000mg in just one tablet!). My only concern is it's grittiness in relation to its size. It's quite a large tablet, so if it doesn't go down in the first couple seconds (or even gets stuck), it makes it nearly impossible for me to swallow. I do not typically have an issue swallowing vitamins but this one can be a challenge every once in a while. Besides that, it's a high quality vitamin C and you get a lot for what you pay for!

Tablet is hugh. Very difficult to swallow and I have no trouble with fairly large tablets and capsules. I will dispose of the tablets...

I have been taking Ester-C for years in the 500 mg size. I rarely get sick, which I credit in part to this supplement.When my kids or husband do get sick and I'm caring for and cleaning up after them, I increase my dosage of Ester-C to give my immunity an extra boost. I find this, along with careful handwashing and dish sanitizing, keeps me healthy.I have also found that taking Ester-C has helped greatly reduce my hormonal acne. This may not make sense at first, but consider the fact that large, painful cystic acne is actually infection deep within the skin. Ester-C helps boost immunity, including fighting off infections.My one issue with this product is that the 1000 mg pills are, of course, larger than the 500 mg pills. They have more defined cornered edges, which along with the bulkier size, make them more awkward for me to swallow. I also taste them throughout the morning, which is very unpleasant, and I never had this happen with the 500 mg. Because of this, I will be switching back to the smaller dosage, but I will continue taking Ester-C.

Works great .... bigger pill, not huge. But a nice add to the health regiment.

Ate my stomach up after using for awhile. Started giving me acid sores in my mouth and felt sometimes like it was burning a hole in my esophagus. Don't use if you have severe Gerd.
