COLORCHARM Semi-Permanent Hair Color

The brand is fantastic just wish it was vegan but for the super easy purple with medium dark brown hair as reference it turned out really nice and not a bright purple either, unless you over saturate

This is a great color and long-lasting. It is easy to use on your hands to apply or with a bowl and brush. I loved the color and how long it lasts.

Washed out fairly quickly but worked

I decided to try a new brand of dye and this one started out great with a very vibrant blue color which I love. And with any dye the color will rub off for a day or two which is normal but this stuff just rubs off on everything. A single hair landed in my sink (a week after coloring it) and when I rinsed it down it left a blue line in the sink. Rest your head on something (again, even a week later) and a little blue might rub off. Not good. First time, last time.

I have patchy grey hair, quite white in some places and darker grey in others. Not pretty. Typically I bleach to level 9-10 and then tone it for a more uniform look. I've tried a bunch of toners via my colorist and at home on my own. All have left my hair too blue, too purple, still yellowish, not silver/white enough. Chrome Paints actually works on my hair. I leave Chrome on for 35-45 minutes under a shower cap. It comes out a true silver chrome. No yellow, no blue. Makes your hair soft and shiny. Downsides: It does not last. It washes out in roughly 4 shampoos for me. But throughout the 'fade', the color is nice and even. Just does not stay true chrome. It really helps with root growth pre next bleach. Also for people with shoulder length hair or longer or thick hair, one tube is not enough. Still the price is right in my opinion. Good find!

My hair is lightened to a Wela nine N G. The instructions said it had to be to a level nine. I have highlights that are even lighter however the lilac didn’t really become visible. It’s more of a purple gray. I left it on slightly longer than the recommended time perhaps a brighter color would have worked better. It does look nice sort of ash blonde but not lilac

I been using this for over a year after trying several diff brands. I refresh every 3 weeks. I bleached it first, it’s grown out but it blends awesome like I did the gradation on purpose. I love it and get so many compliments.

UPDATE: the first time I did my hair, I used less than half the tube thinking I can get away with having more color to use lol.. Anywaayyy, this time after it faded a couple weeks in, I used the remaining of the tub which was about 2/3s and my hair actually turned the steel amethyst and I loooveeee it. I still stand by what I said if you're looking for a "toner" , this works too but it's also great as a color! ORIGINAL: Okie.. I've been learning about hair for years now but not a stylist or anything. This was my first time dying my own hair after cutting it all off from having blue hair 🤪 once I got tired of it. So, I used wella bleach and a 20 vol to lighten. Ended up doing two bleach sessions over 2 days.. About 50/40 minutes respectively and that got me to a medium blonde (lvl 6/7 ish) .. Since my hair was so dang yellow.. I knew based on color theory, that purple would cancel yellow (thanks Brad Mondo 😁) and make a nice dirty blonde so I got the smokey amethyst and put it on my bleached hair for about 25 mins. It came out a nice ashy medium brown with a hint of purple and I'm very very happy with the results. So I think I'd buy this if I wanted to add a different color but my hair would need another bleach session for vivid color which I think was a common mistake among the other reviewers.. I bought this to balance tones instead of using a toner. Love that I don't have to double (or triple) process (adding more developer) to apply this and it does the trick! I'm sure it'll fade relatively quickly since it's semi-permanent, but that's expected.. I intend to touch it up every few weeks/each month and am excited to try some different tints of blonde as I grow my hair back out ☺️

I've used this color before...I know it only lasts 2 washes. So I use it as such.... Because you cannot find this color in any other brand....except manic panic and that fades horribly. So I'll take it and I'll wash with cold and I'll show it off while it lasts because it's gorgeous and it cost $10.

This product did not work AT ALL!! It did not change or even tint my highlighted blonde hair what so ever. Very disappointed!!

Easy to use makes my grey hair vibrant and beautiful. I put it on dry hair and leave it on for a few hours if I have time. It doesn't damage my hair.

Pour des cheveux longs et épais, vous allez avoir besoin de 2 tubes.J’ai malheureusement manqué de teinture! Donc il y a certains endroits où je n’ai pas pu en mettre beaucoup… Le résultat est tout de même très bien. J’ai les cheveux bruns avec des mèches blondes et la couleur est visible même sur le brun. Je ne crois pas que ça va durer 20 lavages, probablement que la couleur sera pas mal partie après 4-5 lavages… J’ai essayé un autre produit avant celui-ci et la couleur était partie après 4 lavages. Reste à voir. La photo n’est pas prise au bon angle pour bien voir la couleur.
