Like the Visitor before it, the Darkside features an all Birch construction and the Aurora exclusive magnetosphere core, giving you the flexibility of adaptation. A bit larger than its sister pad The Visitor, the Darkside weighs in at just under 3 pounds, spans 11 1/8″ in diameter, with a 9 1/4″ Darkmatter playing surface. It is 1 1/2″ tall with a thicker layer over the center core for more active playing. Overall, the Darkside provides enough bulk to create a stable and responsive playing experience, yet small enough for a comfortable fit in any backpack or gear bag. All of the Aurora Series accessories are interchangeable to the Darkside to build a pad to fit your needs.
