Arrived fully charged, likely owing to its recent manufacturing date. Excellent external manufacturing quality. Revived a Dorcy rechargeable flashlight to "like new" condition. Based upon previous history with this battery manufactured by other Chinese companies, a maximum 3 - 4 year life can be expected. Time will tell if Universal Power Group's quality is better than its competitors.

I got to say this seller was great. The battery arrived on time, but was not delivered, no fault of the seller. I contacted the seller to inquire about the delivery issue. The seller was very helpful and re-sent the merchandise no added cost.I read many of the reviews and initially was a bit hesitant to purchase the product due to the concerns expressed by others regarding the size and the installations difficulties they experienced. My key pad is a Simon XT, and it was a perfect fit. The size is exactly the same as the battery I had, and the installation was smooth if you understand what you are doing. The battery is not fully charged when you receive it, so you need to allow it to charge a few hours (up to 24 hours) before the low battery message is deleted from the system. As an fyi, the alarm company offered to sell me the battery for 4 times what I paid for this one. The only thing I'm wondering now is how long the battery will last.

Perfect, took the battery out of my alarm system, entered the PN on Amazon and this battery came up. Price is MUCH better than local. Other buyers said they had the same make and model alarm as me. So I knew it would fit. I installed it in seconds and it is working perfectly!

Very fast shipping. Product is up and running. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't directly fit the GE Simon XT. It is about a 1/16 of an inch taller then the Leoch and that may be because it is 1.3AH as opposed to 1.2AH. Nothing a Dremel didn't take care of in short order.

Battery works great for the GE Simon XT system, however, it's a bit snug and it was difficult to close the GE Simon XT panel after installation.

Upon installation, I had to do a full sensor test and a system reset to clear the previous failure. This battery works great. Will order again...when I need another.

The alarm system on the property is very important and you should always make sure that you're covered for when the power goes out and all you have left is a battery. A good idea to keep a spare no matter what the necessity
