Consistency has changed when capsule is opened
I usually purchase this item and use it by opening the capsule. Usually it is a fine powder however on this last pack I have bought there are chunks in the powder. It seems as if it has not been fully grinded down and has the sweet taste like the outside of a tablet. Usually no problems but off putting now.

The work a treat!
These really do work well! They are a little large, but that didn’t put me off. I have since purchased another 4 pots. For me they are absolutely perfect.

I Have Been Using This Brand For Acticated Charcoal For At Least 20yrs
I have been buying from this brand for years and can totally swear by them. I usually buy their charcial tablet form and have used for IBS issues and when my pets had tummy issues too. The capsules are brilliant and actually better to take as your not getting covered in charcoal every time you open the cap. At least with a cap if you want to add to a smoothie it's easier to break open the cap and sprinkle in your drink. You get 100 capsules which are vegan friendly and gluten free.A little bit of information about what activated charcoal is as provided by a Google search:'Activated charcoal works by trapping toxins and chemicals in the gut, preventing their absorption. The charcoal’s porous texture has a negative electrical charge, which causes it to attract positively charged molecules, such as toxins and gases. This helps it trap toxins and chemicals in the gut. Also because activated charcoal is not absorbed by your body, it can carry the toxins bound to its surface out of your body in feces.'If you do consider giving any to your pet you need to seek the advice from a vet first as I did with our old dog.I have been taking braggs activated charcoal for at least 20yrs and know these work for me be it now capsule form over the tablet option I usually use. Well worth the money for comfort in discomfort

Great toxin absorber
If you've experience with charcoal and it's ability to absorb toxins then I'd suggest giving these a go. I'm used to the compact solid tablet type as opposed to these capsules but I'm sure these will be as effective if not better. If you're not familiar with charcoal and it's natural ability to purify then it's worth your while to do a quick bit of research to see the advantages of activated charcoal. Charcoal is used for numerous filtering media such as fish tank and pond filters to remove chemicals. For drinking water you'll find it in water filters, in cooker hoods to filter the smells and in shoe insoles. So swallowing a bit of this natural toxin and chemical absorber can only be a good thing.I like the ease of use with these and I always have some on standby for that morning after. Good product, I might buy some more when these run out.

Works well to reduce bloating
The product comes with a security seal in the form of a small plastic tab to remove before first use.The pot is relatively small so you could pop it in a bag if you’re going out for food, or going on holiday. The recommended dose is 4 capsules. They’re 300mg each which gives you a total serving of 1.2g of activated charcoal. You can take this up to 3 times a day, if needed. The capsules are slightly larger than usual but ok to swallow with water. They are a bit more dry than other capsules because naturally come of the charcoal is on the outside of the capsules and gives a chalky sort of effect, so make sure you take a good gulp of water with each capsule. You do get black powder on your hands when dishing these up, but it easily washes off with little effort.I find that these work well at reducing the size of a bloated stomach if it’s due to excess trapped wind. This can in turn relieve the discomfort. They’re handy to have in the house for occasional use.I hear they’re also useful if you suspect you’ve eaten something that has disagreed with you, as it can bind to the substance until it leaves your body. I cannot comment on this as I haven’t had the chance to try yet.Make sure you don’t take them at the same time as any vitamins, minerals, other supplements or medications as they can bind to them and make them ineffective. Same applies to food (I think to a lesser extent) so don’t use these too often. If you have frequent pain or bloating, see a doctor. They also adsorb water, so make sure you drink more to compensate for this effect.

Very good for indigestion
Happened to me once to eat a few more pretzels and in less than an hour I had big pains in my stomach. At that time I only had to look for something around my house to stop my pain. Later someone told me about activated charcoal and I remembered that my mom used to treat me with it, as well. After that, unfortunately I had another chance to check how's it working and it all went good. Good product, does what it has to do, helps straight away. Before I used to have them in tablets, here are capsules and it works the same.Recommended.
