I have had this fan for two years. It’s a beautiful fan and it’s always in my purse. I bought it while I was taking some classes in Florida. The classroom would always be warm in the mornings. I love that it’s a quiet fan. That way EVERYONE doesn’t have to know that you’re hot. I have noticed that the fabric is starting to thin out where it connects to the black part, and there are a few loose threads. So far it’s still holding up just fine.

Beautiful! I keep one in my purse and use it often. Excellent for hot, stuffy rooms, hot flashes, anyplace where people are crowded together making it hot even with air conditioning on. I love that this comes with a fabric sheath to protect it; I have others without this convenience that I keep a rubber band around when closed, practical but not attractive. These fans make great little gifts.I think any hand fan of this style is delicately made, part of it's beauty and inherent romance, the frame material is critical for sturdiness. This accordion fan is well made for it's price and I will buy more for my sisters.

when fanning myself the tassel on the end unrivaled and created a small mess of strands.Lesson is be careful with the tassel on it, great fan besides that (also it would be better if it had lacquer handles but there is no false advertising here)

I sucked it up and paid $10 for this "bamboo" and "silk" fan that was "100% handmade". Imagine my disappointment when I received a tiny, flimsy, plastic fan. I doubt it's handmade. And the sleeve it comes with? Just some crappy extra fabric somebody folded over on itself and sewed up. It's not a uniform shape, not sized to the fan, and the print clashes horribly.These reviews must be paid for, because the fan I got is not even close to worth $10. And the entire description is a lie.I forgot that this was supposed to be bamboo. I saw that when I came to give it a 2 star review. But since I was basically swindled for a cheap piece of plastic, this entire company gets 1 star. Absolute garbage. Go to the dollar store.

Bought for hot flushes (menopause). Works well and can take anywhere in my handbag.

Bought as a present for my wife. She really likes the pattern, but it is quite fiddly to fold up.

So good I got another. When you hit the menopause these are great to fan away a hot flush.

This fan is well made and the hand painting is beautiful.

Beautiful fan fits in my hand bag and I love the silk bag that comes with it and I have had people asking me about it and where to get one ! It's perfect for when you have a hot flush or any where when you need to cool down down l love it tx
