My 10 year old son was a little puzzled about how to begin but with a little adult help to get it started, managed to complete it himself in the space of an hour or so and was very proud of his achievement. Much easier than the Swan in the same range which my 11 year old daughter gave up on.

These small woodcraft kits are great for using up a couple of hours with the kids. These relatively cheap packs assemble into a nicely structured peace with not too much effort and can be painted or varnished to complete them.

I love these wooden build it yourself toys and really liked the idea of my nephew building this as he is a 'Monkey' in the Chinese calendar. It will look great when it is finished and sits on the shelf above his bed!

goes togerther very well, and well made. one of the better woodcraft kits. it is a good intro to the figures.
