Yummy and texture is nice
This mix is so good, it has a grainy texture but i like it over smooth cakeyMixture thats to soft if that makes sense. My hubby and i are trying to cut sugar but this makes the sweet cravings better! Makes two thin layer so if you a higher round cake, bake two boxes for a 4 layer.

This was my favorite almond flour cake mix unfortunately I can't find it anymore. Not here or anywhere else.

Versatile low-carb treat (use BUTTER!)
I've used the Swerve boxed cakes for over a year now, and the first time I used it I was relatively new to keto foods. I really didn't like the taste and I was disappointed. I've now been strict low-carb and sugar-free for quite some time and these Swerve cakes are really decadent to me now.If you're new to keto or sugar-free living, it's going to taste off. It's not going to send your brain into a sugar-wave frenzy (that's a good thing).I have now used Swerve mixes for muffins, cupcakes, and multi-layer birthday cakes. They've tasted amazing every single time. If you're a recovering/current sugar-addict, have your expectations in check first and always use butter where it says to add oil.

Very good!
Even my husband, who scoffs at my low carb eating & who lives on sugar, loved this cake! I made a frosting with butter, Serve Confectioners & vanilla, which was delish too. The only drawback is itโs very pricey for so small a cake (each box only makes one single layer), but that is because almond flour and the sugar sub is A LOT more expensive than wheat flour and sugar.

new go-to cake!
I wasn't sure how this would taste but I was pleasantly surprised! I gave it a 4 because I noticed a slight aftertaste at first but it seemed to go away. My husband (who is NOT gluten free) loved it! I habe Celiac and wanted an easy option for a birthday cake and this was it! It was moist and just the perfect amount of sweetness (noy overly sweet but not bland). I will be using this as my go to cake from here on out! It would be nice if it was slightly less expensive ๐

Definitely Almond Flour - Can Be Doctored!
I could immediately tell this cake had almond flour, which I am not crazy about. That unmistakable grit of almond flour is too much for me. But, if you don't mind almond flour or are used to it, this is a great mix. I used both boxes at one time for a three-layer cake. I have always doctored my box mixes for regular cake, so I tried it with this. I feel like it was a success. Following are the changes I made for TWO boxes:1. Use milk instead of water2. Added two eggs3. Added a small, sugar-free, instant chocolate pudding mix (do not prepare)4. Added 3/4-1 cup of sour creamIf you cut the above list in half and use it for just one box, I think it would yield a decent two layers. I used confectioners erythritol (https://www.amazon.com/Swerve-Sweetener-Confectioners-Pack-2/dp/B06WLH1J98/ref=sr_1_10?dchild=1&keywords=swerve&qid=1591829104&sr=8-10), butter, cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract for the icing. I wasn't overly happy with the results, but my diabetic father loved the icing. I'm not saying you'll like it, but here's the recipe:1 c. Butter1/3 c. Confectioners Erythritol2 t. Heavy Whipping Cream (add more for desired consistency)1/4 c. Cocoa Powder (if you make a larger batch, it is not necessary to use 1/4 c. of Cocoa Powder for every cup of Butter... you'll just have to judge that accordingly)1 t. Vanilla Extract (if you triple this batch, add a full tablespoon of vanilla)I also used cake pan strips for a flat cake without a dome (https://www.amazon.com/4-Piece-Strips-Absorbent-Cotton-Baking/dp/B07YW546L9/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=wilton+baking+strip&qid=1591829343&sr=8-4)I hope this helps!
