works slowly but still somewhat overpriced
it does work in its claims. but it takes a while. takes longer than just a few weeks as the company claims.patience in needed.that said. it isnt overpriced sodium + potassium. traditional sodium + potassium does NOT have the same effect as this. you can immediately tell by the distinct instant warming sensation once it enters your mouth.it DOES change the Ph level in your mouth rapidly and stays that way for a long long while.recommended. just dont expect it to remove your tartar all by itself. you still need to work on it with dental picks, carbon powder/baking soda, oral rinse, etc. but it does soften up your tartar aking it easier to remove AND IT DOES RAISE THE PH OF YOUR SALIVA which is vital to keep bad bacteria from forming. smoking def lowers the ph of your spit. not only making it a haven for bad bacteria but smoking also makes your spit disgustingly sticky as glue. this should be around 20 to 25 usd should not be over that number. hope this helps someone.

Excellent
Glad I discovered this product. It does work slowly. Can definitely tell the tartar buildup has been reduced and last cleaning my dentist noticed that. Will keep using.

It Really Works!!
I know this is gross/TMI, but I haven't had a tooth cleaning since the pandemic began because my dentist won't do a regular cleaning until I have a deep scale. I have very crowded bottom teeth with some overlapping where tartar builds up and it was feeling (and looking) pretty foul back there. I've been using Therasol for just one week as directed for heavy tartar and it's definitely helping! Today I looked at it in the dental mirror and it looked less (and felt like there was less). After waterpik & brushing, I used my dental pick to see if I could clean any off and a lot more came off than usual! IT'S NOT SNAKE OIL!! *woohoo!*I got the mint flavor and to be honest, I don't taste any mint. It's just slightly salty water to me, but it's inoffensive. I'll continue to order this as long as I need it!

Works
Works but takes too long to see results and it is also too much money.

This works, just give it time
So, I do not have the best dental health. I was a smoker for several years, enjoyed my sodas (Coca-Cola in particular), and coffee without much thought of the harm it all did to my teeth. I had a lot of dental work done when I was younger and that has created much anxiety around visiting the dentist. I've recently decided to face my fears and take my health into my own hands. I have a permanent retainer after my stint with braces that has tartar build-up and my upper left molar that was a particularly bad spot as well. I have been using TheraSol in my WaterPik in conjunction with Tartar End toothpaste and was able to scrape off a large amount of tartar from my molar after just 1.5 weeks of use. I used a sonic scraping tool. It helps if you also use a toothbrush (I have a sonic toothbrush) and concentrate the mixture on your tough spots. I never thought I'd be able to get this process started at home!

Hurt my teeth!
My teeth are in so much pain. I called oratec and they didn’t really have an answer. My nerves are burning all the way into the tubules of my teeth. Personally, I would not use it.

Not cheap, but it works
I build up a lot of tartar, and have to have a teeth-cleaning every 3 months. My dental hygienist recommended I try this. I dissolve it in the water of my Water Pik and use it twice a day. It is tasteless and dissolves easily. On my next dental visit, my hygienist said I was much improved. A little on the expensive side, but well worth it.

Good stuff
Left my teeth feeling clean. Easy to do and not harsh on your mouth. Would give 5 starts but the little scoop is messy to get back inside the bottle
