I bought a set of these to replace the inevitable missing earring backs. Now I like them so much, I'm buying more to replace the earring backs that aren't even missing. These are just so much more comfortable and easier to use than traditional metal style curved earring backs. They also feel more secure than the ones with the plastic disk surrounding the metal post holder. Depending on the size of the earring post, those plastic disk ones don't always fit well. These, being silicone, seem to grip, no matter the size of the post. They're also comfy against the back of my ear, and big enough to handle easily in my fingers--not like those itty bitty little bits of plastic/silicone tubes designed to secure a fish-hook-style dangling earring post. I lose those tiny things faster than anything. Depending on the thickness of your earlobe, and the length of the earring post, you could use these in a way where the metal post doesn't stick out at all, so it's comfy to lay down or sleep with a stud-style earring still on. For me, if I push the earring back as tight as I can, most of my earring posts will still stick out. I tend to put these on to the point where the metal post is even with the back, so I can't feel the metal post at all if I bend my ears back. There's enough silicone material gripping the post for it to feel very secure. FWIW, I looked at some other sellers with a similar product, but the measurements are all smaller than this one. I'm sticking with this and ordering more.

cant tell you how many backs i have bought and sadly thrown away, these are a different story! i love these, no cheep backs covered in rubber, these are good quality nice and tick and really hold the earing back is not loose, nor will fall off at night! plus they provide cushion when your sleeping so you dont feel like your trying to sleep with a railroad spike under your head, which is why i originally bought them, i dont like taking my earrings out at night (i know blah blah ) you get around 24-26 backs which might not seem like much but they are so so worth it, (when is the last time you needed 24 earing backs at the same time) im going to buy a backup pack so i will have a lifetime supply i never want to be without these little gems again!! (multiple ear piercing's)

These earring backs are great! I frequently drop/lose earring backs which is frustrating, as I've gotten older & become "klutzier" these are a godsend. They work on all the earrings so far, keeps them secure &since it's made of silicone they don't irritate my ears. I highly recommend them especially if you're klutzy like me. They are made of the same material as those microscopic ones that come with new earrings, very soft & comfortable.

These earring backs are very comfortable. I've gone back to wearing earrings after many years. After wearing one set of backs for a few days they become loose and fall off. You'll need to replace them regularly so even though they're cheap they are actually disposable so not as good a deal.I do like them though but will be careful not to wear the same backs for too long as I already lost one earring!

These earring backs are SUPER comfortable and I love that I can sleep in earrings with them on. However, they don't stay in place on my studs super well and I've already had a couple fall off during the day. When they stay on they're great, though.

These earring backs are better than I expected! They are big enough to grasp and manipulate while fastening my earrings. I included photos of many of the ways I can use them. I am tired of paying crazy prices for gold backs that continue to fail. These are excellent for studs, hoops, and “danglies.” I have a pair (in photo) of diamond earrings with a safety back. One of them is too tight. I can put the silicon back on and then close the safety. The silicon back cushions my ear from the pressure. I have a pair of wide, small diameter hoops (photo) that has a temperamental catch. I have the option of inserting the post, adding the silicon back, then closing the catch or I can put the back on behind the catch. Either way protects my earring from loss.I looked at several designs and sizes. These work best for my needs. Also, I didn’t need 200 backs. I have a small plastic snap case (from earplugs, I think) in the second photo. It is a perfect storage option as the backs are shipped in a small cellophane bag inside a little gift box. I haven’t tried the jewelry cleaner cloth, but it’s a nice bonus.

They’re so easy to grip and put on.

My 3rd time ordering. Sturdy enough to last. Larger than most silicon backings. Fit snug. I don't lose earrings now. I use them on both post earrings an d wire earrings. Love these backings
