I bought 2 of these. One for daily use, and one for travel. The daily use one performed great for 3 months until it suddenly required a lot of unplugging / twisting of the ear bud connection just to get any sound. Moving it slightly would kill that fix.Replaced it with the travel unit, which works - for now.Update, 5 dec 2020:...and just like that, the second one failed within 3 months, in exactly the same way. It’s almost as if they were designed that way.Pure junk. I will definitely take more time to read product reviews before buying electronics like this.This manufacturer will be added to my blacklist

This device works but it’s not without it’s flaws. I desperately want this to be a perfect product. That being said, the device works and it sounds good with any good set of headphones (I’m using AKG’s). Perhaps it’s my negligence, but I can’t get this device to work the way I want it. I bought this device because I lost my iPhone dongle, I have wired headphones that I enjoy, and I want a backup for when my power beats are drained of power. I kept the lightning wired ear pods that came with my phone. However, I don’t like the lack of bass and lack of noise cancellation. I like the idea of having a dongle that will allow you to listen to music and charge your device at the same time. I have not tried charging and listening to music at the same time. I’ve tried listening to music with wired headphones and the device does not always function. If the dongle moves the music will cut off. Kind of annoying so I tried cleaning my lightning port only to have the same results. I will add that the dongle worked better after cleaning my lightning charging port. However, the dongle can be disconnected easily. So this product is not for an active person. I do recommend this for traveling. It’s a great backup despite how finicky it is.

This is junk. Gives the “liquid detected” error constantly or the “emergency override” option. Charges very poorly and doesn’t work when you get a phone call. You have to answer the phone on speaker while driving instead of it coming through the speakers like the last adapter I had. Wouldn’t recommend this.

This doesn’t work. It charges ok but it will not produce sound through the auxiliary cable. I’ve hooked it up through my old iPhone (6) and I would have to fiddle with it a lot to get it to work. The cables I have work fine. I tested it with my dad’s Samsung phone. When I use the iphone adapter you have to fiddle and jiggle it and on my brand new iPhone 12 pro, it gives a warning that water is in the iPhone and no sound will come out at all. Find another adapter if you can. This is crap.

I needed this adapter to allow me to charge my phone while driving and using wired earbuds. The adapter has been working well for that purpose. The downside is that the controls built into the earbuds do not work when using this device. I have to go to the phone itself to control volume, ask Siri questions, answer calls, etc, rather than using the controls built in to the earbuds which work when they are plugged into the phone using a regular adapter (without charging capabilities). This can cause distractions which are not good when driving. Hence, the 4 star rating.

I bought this for when I would need it. Well, it’s past return date and I needed to use it and IT FAILED. The headphone did not work! The charger side doesn’t work either without several tries, flipping it over, inserting it slowly, fast.... frustrating.And it’s past the warranty. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Crap! I bought this it broke less than a week later. Bought another one and that broke in about two weeks. The charger snapped clean off inside the charging port. You can’t use the thing to talk on the phone. Do yourself a favor and buy the Belkin model. Much better quality for the same price. Will not buy this terrible product.

Extremely happy with this product since I can use my phone for multiple things while only having one cable in the charging port. Very convenient and I don't have to split my time between music and charging! Love this!With the new Apple updates, I sometimes have received the "this accessory is not supported by this product" message. However, if you just unplug it and plug it back in (sometimes several times), it will work again. This has only happened to twice. I would not say this is a con or has affected my review because that is something to do with the Apple software sometimes not reading the device, but it is something to keep in mind.
