Damn Near Kilt 'Em Men's Tactical Utility Kilt

Never thought I'd be into kilts - this is amazing
Pretty high quality feeling, and I like the way it looks. I got small size, i'm about a 30 waist and 5'7 and I think it looks great and feels great. I really do like this company and how they make camo kilts - we want MORE camo kilts, especially irregular camo patterns like flecktarn! My only problem is the logo is white and very visible, which is sort of annoying - I'd prefer if they did a more subtle color for the brand logo.

God I love it)
for 8 years it is my one and the only kilt for journeys. No complaining at all. Good, heavyduty material, molle webbed belt give a tone of use of pouches etc (if I need more weight on my belt I use tactical belt for heavy pouches). Not a hole, a rip or else anywhere. Its a tank amongst kilts. Easy to wash. Size as in the chart (you MUST know how to mesure yourself when choosing a kilt), gets loose a bit when I lost 10p after a week in hospital, still fits good. But would not recommend for everyday use - it is too heavy. I bought another kilt from other company for home wearing. Will buy one more.... when this one will get a single damage, haha)

Extremely comfortable and well thought out.
I am crazy about this kilt! In a number of ways it is even better than the 5.11 kilts I have worn for years. I really like the Velcro patch at the bottom corner of the apron, too. A great spot for a morale patch, which is much better on a tactical kilt than a kilt pin.

Best kilt out of the 7 I have.
Ohhhhh sweet Jesus this is a nice kilt. I own 6 utility kilts. Now 7. I regularly play airsoft in kilts, work in kilts, live in the damn things. I own more kilts then shorts. By far this is the best one out of the bunch. It fits perfectly. I'm 6'1", 215 pounds with a 40 inch waist. I wear it lower then proper because of a gun belt. All the stitching is quality and seems they have dealt with their quality control issue. I couldn't find a bad hem .Rip stop.... Speaks for itself.I bought OD green. I hate OD green, but the event in attending says I wear green or I don't get to play. But for a guy who doesn't like green, I gotta say it's a good shade of green. The pics don't do it justice. I bet the flecktarn looks amazing.I LOVE LOVE LOVE that it comes with inner pockets and you aren't solely reliant on the hanging side Pockets. I did not know this when I bought them. The pocket clips are quality and I really like the buttons on the front bottom of the utility pockets to hold them down to your kilt (nice touch). The pouches themselves are pretty freaking big.The velcro for the morale patch is a bit larger then the standard flag size morale patch. Making it less likely to get hung up on something and loose your patch.....very niceThe Molly is another nice touch. I could see a first aid kit and/or an admin pouch being secured down. Maybe some pistol mag holders. Not much more than that though. The only gripe I can think of is there are no straps/buckles to lash the thing together up front... Only buttons. The saving grace for the buttons is they give you several extra sets of them.....Like they know their garbage.Well see how they hold up. I'm pretty hard on my stuff.

Well-Made, Good Quality
My husband is pleased with his DNKE Tactical Kilts. We go up one size, simply because when he measured, he had measured where he wears jeans, just above his hips. The kilts have a higher/wider waistband than a pair of jeans or workpants, and should be worn at the belly button or just below. Yes, that few inches up or down the body can make a difference in overall sizing. While the L size fit at his navel, it did not "lay" properly, and as he moved and bent, it bunched, which could eventually cause it to chaff. One VERY easy exchange later, and there was no rubbing, a nice perfect fit, and he had a much better range of motion at the waist. The quality is nice, a light/moderate weight brushed-canvas fabric that seems like it will hold up well. We had no issues with snaps/buttons that a few reviewers mentioned, and DNKE includes a small bag of replacement snaps with each kilt and a one year guarantee card for any other issues. The kilts seem to be quite durable, as my husband has worn them while tromping around our farm/in the woods and they look the same as when they came out of the package (aside from a little dust/dirt because, well, it's a farm). The real test of durability will be in a couple months when he begins using them for his landscaping jobs in early spring. I will update this review at that time to reflect any changes, but I think the kilts will do fine.

Great item, but unfortunately too large
Great item, but unfortunately too large. I measured around my belly button and came up with 42", which should have made it a large for me. It literally fell off my body. I returned and reordered a med-large. No biggie. Just waiting for the new one to try on tonight.UPDATE: received the replacement size and it fits perfectly. I teamed it up with a pair of black suspenders.Men's 48 inch Black Airport Travel Suspenders with Clips That Hook to Belt Loops https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JZBX2J6/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_FeukxbC437MNKUPDATE 2: Unfortunately, I have one negative comment. This item suffers from a common flaw among products with d-rings. The d-rings are not soldered shut and there is just enough of a gap for the rings to work their way out of the loops that they are attached to. This is most evident in the suspender rings. The weight of the kilt on the suspenders causes the rings to rotate so that they are up and down instead of side to side and then can work their way completely free of the suspension loops. I recommend the manufacturer either solder the rings shut or double up the fabric on the suspension loops so that they can't slip free.UPDATE 3: I'm back with a recommendation to the manufacturer. Either change the material used for the suspender loops from the kilt material to the PALS webbing material (thicker and less likely to slip between the d-ring gap) or add an extra line of stitching to the loops just under the d-rings making it harder for them to rotate.

A very versatile and functional Utility Kilt, with plenty of hardware for expansions and add-ons!
Just received my DNKE black Tactical Utility kilt today. I was really worried about my size measurements and if I had ordered the correct size. My tape read between 33.5 and 35.5 (depending how I let it sit and what I was doing with my belly). So I decided to go for the S/M (Small-Medium).Well I couldn't have made a better choice. It seems tailored to fit my frame perfectly. Feels like I won the lottery. It feels solid and sturdy, without being overly cumbersome. Being my *first* kilt, I obviously have nothing else to go on. But I think the Tactical kilt being 50/50 Cotton/Polyester gives it a bit more 'heft' then the 100% cotton Sport/Greenhorn models. There are plenty of options for expansions/add-ons and gear that I will be sure to make use of. It does seem to require a belt for some kinds of Drink holders. But clever use of the hooks, latches and fasteners for the included pouches can make things work in a pinch.Anyway, I've found it 'just right' for weight, comfort, and...um...'coverage' shall we say. I can't see any issues with sitting down in the 'manly legs apart' pose that some other kilts may have. Though a comfortable pair of long athletic briefs makes a nice complement. All in all I'm super happy with this purchase and it will present well at the functions I'm going to be attending in the near future. Thanks to DNKE and Amazon for the great product and fast delivery.

Passt
