Face-Off: Top 10 Lists of Everything in Hockey (Sports Illustrated Kids Top 10 Lists)

I gave this to a young hockey fan. I think he was surprised by all he didn't know about hockey since so much of this book includes history of the sport and players. I tend to think that that is good. Life (sports) did not just start in the last 10 years. Or since the Blackhawks started their winning seasons with Coach Q. The younger fans need to know that life existed before them!

This book is made of thick, quality pages. The images in the book are very clear and I love that the puck is raised on the cover. The book is a little larger than I was expecting so it doesn't fit on our bookshelf but still a great buy.

Another great book from Sports Illustrated for Kids. This was a Christmas gift for a pre-Teen who loves hockey! There are great pictures and a lot of information presented in a kid-friendly format. We highly recommend this!

I was very excited to send this book to my grandson. He is a huge hockey fan and loves to read. Sadly, my daughter told me the book has a very strong mildew smell. That is very upsetting to me. She told me she has tried to air it out with the hope of getting rid of the smell. But, no luck there. It’s disappointing to expect to purchase an item that states is new and have that happen. And, sad for my grandson, too.

Son loves it and is motivated to read.

It looked very good bought it for my great grand child. He is a goalie, and I am sure he will like it.
