Melissa & Doug Police Officer Puppet

We recently bought two puppets from M & D (cop & fireman) for our four year old. He loves them and enjoys putting on puppet shows. The puppets are large - so his arm goes all the way into the body of the puppet (not just like a small puppet that goes to the wrist area); The quality was great... and the $$ was worth it. The hand stick can be taken off if you don't wish to use it - but if you do, it creates a whole other aspect of using the puppet - moving his arms. My six and twelve year old love them as well! Super family fun and lots of laughs. My twelve year old daughter plans to buy some (other characters) for her friends for their birthdays because they had such fun with them (singing to the radio and hi-fiving!). Cute!

I purchased 8 of the Melissa & Doug Puppets for my great nieces and nephews, who might I add: "have everything!". They absolutely love these puppets. Their parents tell me they've been performing and putting on shows at every household they visit during the holidays. The night I gave them out, within 10 minutes they were plotting and planning their first show.The quality is great, they look fantastic, and so inexpensive for the quality. Our kids range from 2-8 years old. This is such a great toy at so many levels - - creativity, exercising the brain, teamwork, learning sharper skills with hand and eye coordination, and even sharing.

Ok...I’ve been there before, puppets are pretty cool. And if you like to talk a lot but don’t like to listen, or need company but don’t like being out in public the Puppets are a Great alternative to dealing with “Real” people. But let’s be honest, are those so called “Real People” actually keeping it Real? Or are they actually being fakers?Either way These puppets make great friends. And I can tell if they’re being real or not because I’m the one making them talk and I can tell if I’m being real or not. So that’s cool.This is a great puppet well made and a perfect addition to your group of puppets.

This puppet is a great find for a great price. You set him on your hand and move the mouth and then the arm is attached to a wooden rod so you can make him more animated. This is perfect for a puppet stage or for even behind a couch. The imagination time for the kids is endless as they make up stories and plays for these characters. We did order one to jazz up a bit to make her more girl friendly but even that was a blast for the kids.

The puppet I received was very nice, from reading some reviews I expected junk. The officer is well sewn, the uniform is nice (and velcroed on so you can take it off)and the badges aren't faded. the Hat is a bit large on top, the mustache does go into the mouth to much when trying to talk. Rod was intact and is more then what is need to control this puppet. The issue I have with this LITTLE GUY! is he is little. There are two different measurements for this product. 15"H x 5"L x 6.5"W and there is 3.8 x 6.8 x 16.1 inches. so i measured it out, workable room for the puppet, from nose(about where your hand would be to the end of the puppet is 13 inches. the Guy it's self is 6inches wide. The head from mouth corner to corner is 4 1/8 inches so small my wife can get her thumb and two fingers in to control the mouth. I couldn't really get that. I would buy this just for a kid but not for anything else. I wish they made these bigger. I'll probably return it or give to my neighbors kid. looks nice and well made but just to small

My husband and I bought five of these puppets for our two grandchildren (brother and sister) for Christmas.First let me say that when they arrived, my husband and I were amazed at the fine quality and craftsmanship of these puppets....and at such an affordable price! Needless to say, before wrapping them the kid in us came out and we had fun playing with them. On Christmas day, the whole family enjoyed playing and impersonating with the puppets and also commented on the fine quality. We also bought them the puppet theater to enhance their imagination and fun. Great gift and nice change from all the electronic toys!

THIS IS OFFICER CYRUS CIREN. Hes become part of our family. My son does comedy with puppets. This one is his favorite. He has him all the time. We have a few of this brand and they are EXCELLENT quality. They each all have their own well made details and costumes. You can't beat the quality of puppet with the hand stick and great costumes, hair everything for the price. Puppets can get expensive.

I don't usually write reviews, but want to share. My 11 year old son received an Amazon gift card for his birthday. I thought he made a mistake when I realized he had ordered this. "No big deal " I thought, thinking we could easily return it. Turns out, this wasn't a mistake. His and his younger siblings and cousins haven't but it down, and its still in one piece. (That's unusual for anything with my kids)
