Great camera. Would highly recommend upgrading to the pro!
The camera quality on this is decent. 1080p is plenty for making out Reg plates (if there’s not a huge amount of glare).Unfortunately I was involved in a collision with a stupid biker a few days ago. Without this cam it’d of been here-say with the insurance companies. Thanks to Nexar’s intuitive app, hard brake detection and auto & manual clip generation I now have the muppet dead to rights as going into the back of me. Which is clear as day from the interior camera. Which was a pleasant surprise. Shame there isn’t a rear mountable camera too but angled correctly the inside camera does catch views from the rear and side windowsFew side notes I don’t really enjoy;- I had a day of 4 hrs of driving. The 2nd 2hr leg over-wrote the previous journey as my allocated phone storage was set to 50% on the app by default. Therefore I lost a lot of footage. I’ve been on with the Nexar team via emails and they said I can up my allocated storage. Hopefully that problem is now solved.- I can’t say much about the night vision. I’ve not tested it.- I highly recommend buying a 3rd party 124GB SD with this camera. They are a lot cheaper separately.- The app can be tetchy but on IOS is does run well 99% of the time.

Worst experience ever
In order to set it up you need to download app and sign up for it. Unfortunately in the beginning of the signing up process app is asking for code that should be sent via sms to me. Even though I tried several times haven’t received any code so I was unable to register and use this product. Tried contacting support, been told that code is valid for 5 mins only so I should request code and let them know straight away so they will send it via email, tried it 5 times. Each time I had to wait over an hour for response so code was no longer valid. The worst experience ever, wasted time.

Really liked the features and quality of this camera specifically night vision, Has front and interior facing camera also can be use as back camera. App can be improved more better.

Good camera, bad app.
The camera is easy to fit with the cable tool and clips help hide the cables. My issue is the app. Initial connection was easy but the battery drain is horrendous. My galaxy s8 goes from 100% at 7am to 40% at 12 midday with the app running. I now only log in to the app when making longer journeys but it doesn’t always connect. Frustrating.

Broken with no warning. App is also failing
The item just stopped working, could not reset (factory) also could not get the App to work, would not send code to connect to device. Seems like a problem with the software.
