Hugs and Kisses Hardcover – November 9, 2010

I love this book series. These books are a regular rotation in my 20-month-old's reading. The pictures and illustrations are just lovely. Obviously, if you are a Disney fan you will be pleased and the interaction of the Disney characters with the real babies is very sweet. My daughter loves to look at the pages, point out the baby's features and the different characters. Also, one thing I really like about this book is how it prompts you to be a little more interactive with reading with your child which my daughter loves. For instance, asking baby to count 5 little mice, etc. There is a lot going on in the pictures that you can talk to your child about (but no so busy that it is overwhelming). This particular book has a cut out of hearts made out of a soft, smooth material which my daugther loves to touch. Fun book. I highly recommend.

This book came highly recommended for my baby and that's why I bought it. However, I don't see it as that great of a book. My kids would have preferred TAILS or any number of pop-up books.

The Disney Baby board books are adorable and easy to read. My baby loves them. Another plus is that they are easy enough that my first grade step-daughter can read them to her little brother.
