This series is amazing!
From the very first book I was hooked. The way each character developed and gives their own personal perspective, instead of just from one persons view, makes you think and realize there are many ways to interpret someone’s actions or feelings. I.T Lucus has an amazing gift to be able to write both and make it a seamless transaction from one chapter to the next. I truly like how the main characters always remain throughout each book as new characters are presented.I read through each book so quickly that once I am done I find it hard waiting the next book to be available.

Great story!!
Even though this book ended on a cliffhanger, I still loved it!!Annina is an immortal Goddess who is several thousand years old. She was betrothed in an arranged marriage to her Uncle, but she fell in love and married the man. Her uncle went insane because of her decision; killing her husband as a result. He was tried and convicted to death, but he ran away and this started a holy war that has spanned centuries. Annina had 5 children, they believed in teaching mortals in advancement in technology and furthering society in all ways, stopping wars, stopping hate, etc. Her Uncle's people were called DOOMers. They believed that women had no place in the world. They were a piece of property, bought and sold; they had no voice at all. They influenced mortals to start wars, hate one another for petty things, and taught them ignorance.Kian is Annina's second born son, she lost her first son. He rules the US while one of his older sister's rules Europe. Their mother is hidden away in a secret spot in Alaska; she's the only living Goddess remaining. The youngest sibling, Amanda lives in California with Kian. She's a professor working on a project trying to find women who are Dormant (they carry the immortal gene that can be awakened by a bite from a male immortal.)Syssi has had premonitions ever since she could remember. Amanda hires her to be a research assistant because she knows that Syssi is the key to her clans future. She just has to get her brother, Kian, on the same page. She knows how lonely it is for him to lead alone all these years. She thinks both of them would be happier together.Syssi doesn't know the truth about her boss' true origins, she just knows somethings different. But when the DOOMers kill one of their own, everyone goes into hiding, including Syssi. And Kian becomes extremely protective over her safety.A must read!!Can't wait for the next book!

Interesting and Unique Characters
If you like the long simmer with a smart, kind lady love interest, give it a read! The men slower to be developed, but likeable and each with their own unique flavor. I'm interested to see where this set-up goes!

Not much of a conclusion or romance
I gave this book 3 stars because it was well written with a good story plot, and great backstory and character development. Not much romance and I feel that this story should have continued instead of leaving off where it did. I think I understand why there are 51 installments to this series... it's almost too descriptive but there is a backstory -- I found myself skipping parts. the Hero Kian is very indecisive as to what he really wants and or will allow himself happiness with another person. For living thousands of years and having endured heartache you would think this would be a no brainer. He literally changed his mind three times in the last chapter as to whether or not stay with the Heroine. Frustrating to say the least, also hard to believe that he could not figure out the Heroine was his mate after living for so long. Even still is not a conclusion at the end of this book. He's too worried about him telling her he's a vampire but he has already erased her memory of him twice so far so that reason is rediculous.Syssi is the Heroine and is very attracted to Kian, but he is very standoffish with her to begin with (or so she thinks, but you get his POV) and then he wants her then he dont...off and on it goes. He keeps giving her mixed signals. She continues vying for his attention and approval. She is written as shy but is on him like a cheap suit at the snap of his fingers like she cannot control herself and the whole body betraying bit. So she is sitting having coffee with him and has a flashback of dream sex encounter with him then starts getting all wet and horny. Seriously aggravates me that women are written needy and begging for sex or cannot control their actions thinking between their legs. The dream sex is the only action she gets and is not sex at that, but she is begging for him to do this and that to her.Amanda is Kian's sister -- She knows what she wants and does not back down. She makes some stupid mistakes and or decisions for her family being in hiding, and refusing to leave her work when Kian tells her they are in danger and also leaving her notebook behind with valuable information. Again, the whole living for thousands of years you would think she would understand not to become complacent. Especially with a strong terrifying foe and what they would do to her being a female of her significance in the story. The story ends with no one deciding anything, so the next book will pick up where it left off so a slight cliffhanger .. not sure if I will continue on with this series.

Addictive
Dark Witch is the book I just finished and as it has been since I started this series, I can't wait until the next book comes out! This series should come with a warning, it is very addictive. Once you start the series you can't stop. I.T. Lucas is a very talented writer who has created the best series I have ever read.

Fascinating
This book is unlike Amy I've read. For me, it is unusual fantasy, partial immortals! They seem to be in some way vampires, yet successful and compassionate.

Sweet and Spicy
Loved it, and I can't wait to read more. August is a hard month for me, so getting into this book is taking some of my pain away.

Ancient History, Mythology, Alian Conspiracy, and a New Twist on Vampire Romance
These stories are brilliant, introducing new characters, allowing you to walk through situations from various characters' POV, and, linking book to book. Throughout the series, you get to keep up with characters you already love and identify with while learning more of the over-arcing storyline, and meeting new characters. The underlying plot will suck you in, and keep you hungry for the next installment!!!

Absolutely amazing!
What a fantastic start to an amazing series of books. I wasn't sure what to expect from this series, but I must admit, I was in two minds as to whether I should start it or not. At the time, I think the series was up to book #30 or there abouts. I'm someone who often feels a need to finish a series most of the time, so the thought of being able to read that many books and still loving the series, was a little daunting...But... am I glad that I strted reading it? Abso-freaking-lutely 100%!... lolThe characters are so consistent throughout not only the books themselves, but the entire series. And when you're talking 65 books and counting, that's an accomplishment not many authors would be able to deliver. They are well rounded, fleshed out and as alive as any character on a page can possibly be. They feel like firends you haven't seen in a while.I can't recommend this series enough to anyone who wants to sink their teeth into a great story that has so many multifaceted characters, that will make you laugh, make you cry and make you fall in love with every single page turned.Do yourself a favour and start on this amazing series, you won't regret it.
