Floating Shelf Bracket - Heavy Duty - for Standard Lumber - (40, 7)

So 1st off great bracket nice and sturdy I got this for some 2 foot wide 6” depth and 1.75” thick shelf’s I made. The guide it comes with is 100% needed i could not have drilled a straight enough hole with out it. The multi hole for screws is super important so that I could get this into studs no mater the placement. The drill bit they recommended is a bit tricky as it has the small tip to aid in pulling it into the wood but it wants to pull all the way through so be careful and slow. My only real complaint would be expensive!! And no one else makes a bracket like this so your kinda stuck getting there brand. The other brackets you see on here are junk and it’s definitely worth paying more but if they where less expensive I’d buy more.

I built a custom walnut mantel over our fireplace and used the 70 inch bracket to secure it. I also bought the kit with router template and drill guide which made install surprisingly easy. The build quality is exceptional and all the angles are perfect 90 degrees. Very impressed with the product and just bought another six brackets to mount some additional walnut shelves on either side of the fireplace. Overall great product and highly recommended.

This bracket is solid, well constructed and makes for a great floating shelf. My only issue with the install is that the bugle head wood screws that were provided end up adding to the overall width and depth necessary for the groove on the back of the shelf, as well as the width. My shelf was 1.5" thick, so I didn't have much extra room to cut a wider groove so I ended up having to chisel out a notch for the head of the screw so it would fit in the groove.

I had some questions about the specifications I needed for my shelves. I called with my questions and they were incredibly pleasant and helpful. They were very knowledgable and more than happy to to guide me in the right direction. The brackets I received feel very strong and durable and I can't wait to get them mounted. I would absolutely recommend them for their products and customer service!
