I would have preferred the stiffer brush for sure to clean my Seadek. The softer version okay for gelcoat.

I originally purchased this brush because it was not to bulky. Looked like the right size for me to maneuver without struggling. I am an older woman and this works exactly as I expected. I really wanted an easy to use brush to wash my car with but then I decided to use it on my tubs and shower walls as well. I have several rental properties. As I was using it to clean tubs and showers at the rental home, my friend that was helping me was asking where I got it, she wants one. I ordered one for a surprise and it will be delivered today! Its a funny thing to give as a gift but hey, it is very useful and saves your back. Love the solid wood, the handle feels great in my hand and the size of the head is perfect, love the oval shape. I use tilex on shower walls and then use this brush, and then rinse the brush well when done to make it last I get all chemicals out of bristles. I am thinking I need to buy a second one just in case they stop selling this. I love it that much!

So far so good. I use this soft brush on the gel-coat/painted areas of my boat so it doesn't scratch. Need a harder brush for non-skid and other areas.

Bought it to clean dog paw prints from my deck, works great for that

This brush is more than I expected , so easy to use and holds a lot of water and safe on boat
