They work for 1 time use - 50 gives plenty of uses
Pretty much a one time use as they break removing them which is why they give you 50 I guess

BETTER than the original
What? Is this possible? Well in this case yes it is not only possible but actual. I replaced several old tired and loose tabs on my Lexus with these. I was very skeptical considering the dowright cheap pricing per unit. I almost never use anything less than Toyota/Lexus quality on my cars (I have 3 Lexus). But in this case I figured there was no risk. If they didn't fit or work well I would simply return, besides they weren't that expensive an any case. When I replaced the old tabs with these I found that they fit better, made better, and were more secure. I then proceeded to replace of them on this particular car. It just goes to show how much we get ripped off by the auto dealers/manufacturers when it comes to replacement parts. By the way this same tab costs $1.16/each at the dealer. The unit cost on these delivered and in my hand was 17 cents. Go figure.I found the same thing to be true recently when it came to replace the 2 hood struts. I checked the dealer price and then found the name part number on the old strut. I looked it up on the internet and found I could get them delivered for around 1/3 of the dealer price. Same brand and same part number.Buying these is a no risk purchase. They work and work very well!!I did

cheap, plenty, gets the job done
The original fasteners that came with my Lexus RX snap on and off crisply, but those deteriorate after four years under the hood and the local dealership prices replacements like jewelry. I've bought a batch of 10 of these in the past, and they used to be quite a bit more expensive, but were also of a higher quality. The pushpin in the center used to be textured and moulded with finer precision. The current batch of 40 at the same price as before has a smooth pushpin, engages its other half only reluctantly and with much forceful encouragement. Time will tell whether they stand up to the rigors of engine heat better than the OEM ones or the first batch of replacement fasteners. Honestly, I only need 10, and if Amazon deigns it proper to raise the quality of this humble component and sells it at a price more reasonable than the local Lexus dealership but higher than it is now, I would happily buy more. A bag of 40 is more than I need, but the quality is not what I want.
