Ease of use.
These clippers are awesome wish I would have had them years ago there's so much easier to use as you can put your finger in the ring and keep it from slipping out. They are nice and sharp as well.

Not easy to use on yourself.
I ordered these nail clippers because I thought they would make clipping my toenails easier. These are difficult to use on yourself, but very easy to use to clip someone else's toenails.

They are a little awkward to get used to, but with time I'm sure I'll get used to them.They cut well.

Great for after a stroke
I had a stroke 3 years ago and have gotten use of my right hand (affected by the stroke) back but still have great difficulty gripping or holding anything. These have allowed me to use that hand to clip nails again. The way I use them is I place my middle finger above facing downward through the upper loop and my thumb facing up through the lower loop with the clippers pointing towards me, this allows me to keep them steady and get a firm squeeze.
