Finally a Sprinkler that actually works!
Made in Germany instead of the usual imported garbage that just falls apart. This is super light weight and not fancy at all… but it WORKS WELL!

This is a pretty good sprinkler my only advice would be to get a size larger than you think you need. It works well, is very easy to adjust and water coverage is good. I purchased the exact size for my yard and the very edge area is browning. I really, really hope that these last more than a year. I'll update in the future.Edit: 11/6/2015 Only one is still working and I just put it up for winter.

Simple, Elegant Sprinkler
I have used Gardena oscillating sprinklers for over twenty years, and all of them have been good. This is the simplest, least complicated, fewest moving parts Gardena I have had. It is light, but quite stable in the grass or garden. Its pattern is both predictable and easily adjustable. It covers 1500 square feet easily (I never expect maximum listed coverage from any sprinkler) and seems to be as durable as all Gardena products. Don't expect this to do the job of heavier models, but for the price and with reasonable expectations it's a little beauty!

Okay, but traditional sprinklers are much better
This sprinkler works okay. Like other reviewers mentioned, it's a little light weight, but I haven't had any major problems with it tipping over once the water is shooting through. My main problem with it is that the water isn't really evenly distributed. More water gets to the center than the edges. This is e first oscillating sprinkler I've ever had, so I can't say if that's normal, but it's a little frustrating.

Gardena quality sprinkler
Adjustable back and forth action works as expected like an older one this replaces. My only gripe is the stand catches the grass if you just want to pull on the hose to change a location. My older one that broke had metal feet that never caught the turf when I dragged to a different spot. Plastic does seem thinner from my 20yr old Gardena but the operation is just as good.

Very Weak Coverage Area
Sooooo disappointed after spending quite a bit extra on this unit. Thought this unit would be an upgrade over hardware store bought Melnor sprinklers that give you about a year of life. Spent roughly twice as much for the Gardena and found it to be well made and easy to adjust. The Problem: It's coverage area is tiny. Now I have to move the sprinkler to cover my small backyard. Which means that it sometimes doesn't get done and my new seed is not taking hold.

Beware. It quit after one month!
When I first hooked up these sprinklers - I bought 4 of them - I was experiencing drought conditions. And so, I ran the sprinklers night and day (with short breaks) to keep plantings alive in my newly renovated landscape. Within a week, all of the sprinkler holes clogged. I must clean them before and sometimes during each use and now, after a month of watering, they have all failed to oscillate. These things are designed for light occasional use but the price is pretty hefty! Save your money and invest in heavier equipment if you are looking for a dependable tool. This is not it. The only good feature is the easy to use dial for adjusting the range of spray. But if it doesn't spray...what's the use?

Excellent Design
Pros : Light weight but stable(small form factor is amazing). Great spread and even dispersing. Solid build ( you can drop this thing and be OK if you're clumsy like me). You can adjust for every imaginable combination.Cons: So far I haven't had any. This was one of my better choices for yard maintenance.

Repeat purchase
I had an 30 year old version of this sprinkler. It broke when I stepped on it so this is a replacement and it works exactly like the older one. The new version's design looks more durable.

good gardena product
works very well for long period of time (all night) never misses a beat and very easy to maintain.I remove one star because it is sent without north america coupling (came from europe) costing in canada between $7 to $10 to buy.after checking with CTC that has most of Gardena products,it would have been cheaper even with taxes. But it is my fault not having check before before ordering. The product itself is excelent.
