NovaMedical Products Lightweight Transport Chair with Locking Hand Brakes, Blue

I just received my Nova 330 Transport Chair today & I am soooo happy with it so far. It only took 5 days to arrive, excellent fast shipping! The chair is sturdy, lightweight & well put together. I haven't taken it out for a spin yet, but did take my mom for a spin in my home. The chair is for her and she says she likes it very much, it's roomy and comfortable. I will review it more after I take her out in it. My first impression is, this chair is awesome & the packaging was good and the chair was very easy to take out!! Thank you Amazon for suggesting this chair after the fiasco I went through with Phillips Naturals Health Care and the chair I ordered with them. They were dishonest and uncaring and my order was cancelled by them without notification. Needless to say, I'm still very upset with them & how they handled themselves and treated me. Amazon, your customer service is great and I appreciate all you have done to assist me in getting a quality chair for my mother. This chair is sold by Amazon and I highly reccommend it!Okay, So I've had the opportunity to test this chair out a few times and I confirm that this is a great chair. The larger back wheels make it sturdier and make for a smoother ride. It's easy to open and close and not too difficult to lift in and out of my car trunk. The seat is wide and my mom says it's comfortable. I love the hand breaks, the handles are ergonomically designed and are comfortable. 5 stars, 5 stars, 5 stars!!!

Most other transporters will not measure up to the quality and design of the NOVA 330. This chair is used for my wife and safety is my overriding consideration. After reading reviews for other chairs, it became apparent that there were areas of concern that were not being addressed by some manufactures. I wanted a safe, well engineered, and user friendly chair. The reviews led me to the NOVA 330 and here are a few of the strong selling points. The front wheel forks are constructed of thick steel and engineered for strength at the stress points where other chairs often fail. Reviews of other transporters reveal the safety issues that result from collapsing wheels and the potential for personal injury. We use the chair on hard surfaces, not in sand, grass or gravel, and its serves our needs very wellThe hand brakes and user brakes are very positive and easy to use. Brake cables are neatly attached to the frame and do not snag on passing objects.Leg rests are easily adjustable to length and simple to remove. Easy to use yet very strong.Issues with the promptness of delivery and condition of packaging seemed to be an issue to many but my chair was ordered on a Monday and delivered on Thursday, in perfect condition.This chair is just what we need.

Bought this chair for my wife who gets fatigued quickly from her Parkinson's. We first used the chair on a trip to Sedona, Grand Canyon and Zion national park. The chair made it possible for her to be out most of the day and experience some amazing sights. The chair is light enough to handle comfortably getting it into and out of the car's trunk. The larger rear wheels and a place to step down on the back of the chair, make it easy to tilt for going over curbs and bumps. The hand brakes are great for downhills and I like the separate wheel locks next to the rear wheels. The person in the chair can release the wheel locks if needed.It seems to be made pretty well, all the welds are clean and everything worked out of the box. The arms may be a little high for a shorter person, like my wife, but a seat cushion makes it more comfortable.It costs a few bucks more than similar chairs but the additional brakes and quality seem to be worth it. See how it goes in the long run.

I haven't gotten to use it much yet. Will come back and revise review... But don't hesitate to buy this... well designed... well thought out... good quality... BUT... armrests are a bit high and can become a bit uncomfortable after a while... remedy by sitting on a thick foam pad/cushion! Fairly Lightweight- Compact/Portable- Heel Straps- Footrests are Length Adjustable- Easy and Quick On and Off!- Handles Fold Down... Fits Easily in a Shopping Cart Lengthwise or Width-wise... Will post pictures later so you can see what I mean but consider finding THIS TOTE (I got mine at WalMart)... (everything Mary - Rolling Sewing Machine Tote - Style # EVM7550 - UPC 0812259034817 - they have different styles but these are the dimensions you want... 17.5 L X 9 W X 13.5 H as listed on the tag...) it fits between the handlebars or under the seat like it was custom made for this chair! BUT! YOU have to engineer a way to attach it... it is NOT made for this application and does not fold for transport... I recommend nylon straps, like from ratchet straps... and rivet or grommet thru this Tote going completely around the Tote! Then attach with clips/clasps like from dog collars or key chains... I have the tote for putting dog in on walks when pushing mom in chair if dog tires... top folds in leaving open for pet... but can used for clothes-water-anything...9-29-17... Update... After using this for some time, I have to say that I'm still impressed and has worked well... You have to be very careful rolling over bumps and imperfections or you can very easily spill your rider, but I understand this is usual for transport and wheelchairs... you must turn around and pull the chair over obstructions, or tilt the chair back to raise front wheels then once past obstructions raise rear wheels over... anyway... handles are a bit sloppy, meaning that they have quite a bit of free play but this doesn't affect functionality.Pushes well, folded and empty until needed. Quick setup and takedown... All in all I'm still very pleased... will try to get back with pics and or video...

Very sturdy, easy to transport due to light weight. We don’t really need the hand brakes but assume it is a handy feature for some.

Es una gran silla de transporte, muy bien pensada en muchos detalles de diseño . Mi mamá sufrió una caída con fractura de cadera y tuvimos necesidad de adquirirla, encontrando esta silla con reseñas positivas y a un precio razonable. Es ligera y fácilmente plegable. Algunas reseñas referían que quizás no era adecuada para gente pequeña por su altura. Mi mamá mide 1.50 m y no ha tenido ningún problema. El otro punto en contra de las reseñas que leí decía que la altura de los reposa-brazos era muy alta también, lo cual es cierto, sin embargo, en este caso, ésa fue una ventaja pues ofrece soporte y apoyo para la persona que tiene que sentarse. Tiene el ancho ideal para poder entrar en puertas de amplitud convencional. La recomiendo sin duda.
