Camelbak

If you read my other review you'll know why I ordered this one. I basically loved the quality of the Camelbak packs but didn't want one where I had to use the waist straps to keep it secure, as I'm a large chap! The M.U.L.E. does not disappoint. Well made, a pocket for everything, an easy to clean bladder and removable waist straps. I have used it twice now on MTB and it is comfortable to wear, feels secure and doesn't make your back sweat.......great!

Sometimes the value of a product is more than the cost. I've had my old hydration pack for a couple of years, and decided it was finally time to get a real camelbak. I'm really glad that I did. The bag is well made and the design well thought out, with loads of storage space, and a handy helmet holder for when you're having a break. On top of this the crux reservoir delivers your drink quickly and easily, while holding plenty to last for a long ride.Being able to split the payments for this via amazon's 0% offer made it easier to be able to afford the pack I've wanted for years.If you want a new hydration pack, don't compromise, get a camelbak

Worth every penny, i have always bought cheap £20/30 hydration backpacks because i thought whats the point its going to get wet and muddy anyway, how wrong i was. I finally splashed out on having this and it is better in every way! The hydration pack itself is huge at 3L it is enough for even the biggest rides on hot days. And the holdall size, it actually holds more than my previous cheap one that had a higher inner literage value.Theres loads of pockets to put things and the magnet for the hydration tube is great so it stays right where you want it.If your thinking about getting one over a cheaper brand, Just do it, you wont regret it!

I have always used hydration packs for almost 20 years on MTB. Camelbak is by far the best you can get. Most importatnt the water reservoir is included and not for additional fee like others do. Comfortable and spacious even for all day long ride.

One of the best out there. Looked at Camelbak, Salomon & Osprey. The materials used in the MULE are outstanding.Only thing I found is when you pack it the back bulges out so the airflow suffers in warm weather. Maybe draw some inspiration from Osprey Syncro for the next generation. Other than that, fantastic option.

More than I normally like to pay but definitely not disappointed, well made with useful pockets to get bike pump etc, food and a spare top/waterproof jacket in. Water bladder has a very generous capacity and has not leaked. I did have to repeatedly fill the bladder with a very diluted mild detergent to get rid of the plastic chemical taste before I could use it properly but you find that with all these bladders/drinking bottles. I've used my bag for a couple of months now on my bike and walking and I have found it to be a perfect day bag, lightweight with just enough space to put what you need in. My only suggestion for improvement would be including a water bladder cleaning and drying kit as for the price you pay for the bag it is a bit annoying to then have to pay more for an additional cleaning kit.

I have had the previous mule for years and it has stood the test of time. IT’s everything you want for storage on a long days ride
