Great for bacon
Used this to start making bacon from home and seems to be working well. The jar will probably last me 10 years so the value is great and product works as described.

Lasts longer than expected
This is a deceptively large amount of curing salts, and is very worth the cost. The container it comes in is sealed well and will last the lifetime of its contents without a doubt. Use in any cured meats your heart desires, I'm sure there will still be some left over after.

Worked well on home made bacon
First time attempting to make bacon at home and it was a success. Came out better than expected after some online research on how to use this curing salt properly. The only thing I have to add here is that I felt a strange sweet and salty flavor in the bacon and a similar flavor to baking soda in pastries. I'm assuming that is from this, even though I washed it thoroughly before starting the process. It's took about a week to cure, while flipping it daily and then I used a pellet smoker where I kept it for about 7 8 hours at 180 degrees. First attempt was good but I can do better

Great Value. Made a great Corned Beef & Both Fresh & Smoked Keilbasa
Needed Some more Prague Powder to make this year's St. Patrick's Day Corned Beef, as it came out great last year. I also used some to make my Easter Fresh & smoked Keibasa.You can't make any of these with out good Prague Powder & this is a great produst, at a great value. I will have enough for many of my homemade food projects, but when it is needed again, I will reorder.
