Petmate ASPEN PET 16 X 9 SELF WARM BOLSTER MAT

To me, this seems a bit thin, and I don’t see how it’s any warmer than any other kennel pad on the market... but my dog really does love it. I keep her travel kennel open in the living room, and she will frequently rest in there as opposed to her other bed or on the couch with me.Of course, this same dog will lie in her other bed on her back, upside down with her butt elevated and her head bent at a 90-degree angle over the edge of the bed... so her recommendation for comfort should probably be taken with the whole shaker of salt.

Silly cats. I bought these and some plush flat tan self warming mats to place on a couple shelves and at their favorite lounge spots.The cats like the ones with the bolster sides, of course. They hold up the same in wash ( i use hot, tide with bleach, and heat dry). But look less plush and look like they need washed the day after placing them.Picky spoilt cats.

The dogs LOVE them. Great self warming pads. The tops stay looking new for years. I have a lot of Aspen pads & beds. They are my favorite for the dogs.The problem is that the back side non- slip fabric is those little dots.....they start coming off & you find these little red dots all over the laundry room & where ever the beds are places. Took me several months to figure out where all the red dots were until I found a lot in the washing machine after washing a load of the pads.

I bought this to replace one just like it. The original was stolen by some stray dogs. It was the only bed my outdoor cat has ever liked and she is so finicky I didn’t know if she would lay on the new one or not. It took a few days but it has passed her inspection. Bitsy gives it five stars.

For the first 2 weeks my 4 pound chihuahua loved this bed....actually she still does, but I'm upset because it has already torn at the seam. My dog is almost 10 years old and has not been rough with this bed so I'm disappointed that it has already come apart. I should be able to sew it back together because truly she does love this toasty warm bed. Also be aware that it is really small. Perfect for my mini chihuahua, but may be too small for larger pups. I would still buy it again.

I bought this to put inside a styrofoam box that my outdoor cat sleeps in on my porch. The quality is good and he seems very warm when he exits his box

This is not an everyday bed and that was my fault I guess. It's obvious now because that's why they advertise it for the kennel and for "home away from home." And for "on the go." We were using it for one of several beds we have around the house and it deflated faster than you can say Tom Brady.

The warming part works very well, and my cat loves it. Be forewarned however, the 16x9 is VERY small. The actual outside dimensions, with the outer roll part squashed down is really only 16x8. The middle flat part where the cat lies down is about 13x4.5. Fortunately, the cat I got it for is very small, so it works great for her.
