Chala Patch Cross-Body Women Handbag Mauve

My sister in law recently discovered Chala purses. She told me how much she loved the versatility of this brand. I heard her mention she wanted this particular purse and it was going to take a couple weeks to get it from every other store / vendor I contacted. Amazon as usual was able to beat them all! It showed up in perfect condition. She was so happy. I asked her if she felt the quality on this bag matched the other Chala purse she has (which is made of an animal safe leather alternative) and she said yes. Koalas are my totem animal. I am usually a wallet phone only person, but was looking for something that could be hands free when I shop or travel and crossbody as purses to not stay on my shoulders. This bag even fits my full size Galaxy Tablet with case with room to put other esentials. Just freaking love this!

I bought this for my tween daughter as a present. It would be her first larger purse. It is pretty big, at least bigger than I thought it would be but not in a bad way. It's very deep and has a few pockets and a zipper inside. The quality looks just ok, not something I would expect to last for more than a year or two, anything more would be a bonus. Stitching was good except in a few areas I had to snip some threads that were already unraveling.The bigger drawback for me is the main zipper. Ultimately I will let my daughter decide if she wants to keep it but I may encourage her to pick something else out instead. The main zipper is VERY floppy. I know the bag is canvas and is floppy in nature but the zipper on this was executed poorly. The zipper is not attach at the end as you can see in the picture here. That makes it impossible to zip or unzip this bag with one hand. You have to hold the end tab while you zip it up (and then tuck it down inside the bag) and the tab is 2" longer (wider) than the purse itself. Kind of a weird concept I have seen before on some cheaper bags but this one would be so much better if the zipper didn't hang off like it does. It's really annoying and kinda ruins the bag. I would probably give it 4 or 5 stars pending durability testing if it wasn't for the terrible zipper idea. Even if the tab was shorter by an inch, it would be so much better.

I purchased this iteration of the 'mauve' specifically because it looked like it had lime-ish green as the accent color. In person, it is not that bright unique green, it is darker like other 'mauve' option accents of the same purse in different listings.It's not huge but it's not tiny. I'm often surprised at the depth of the purse and lose things in it. It feels like it's smaller but it has tons of room without being bulky!The strap is wide and comfortable. I love the way it's offset on the purse (strap attached outside front and back instead of at the corners on the inside seam) so it sits flush against the body. At first, I was frustrated as it kept sliding to a longer length but I was like, duh, and finally used the little slide-stopper. You really have to use that or it will adjust itself.Overall, I love this purse and am very happy with my purchase.

As a German Shepherd lover/owner, I came across this searching for a GSD bag. Wasn't sure but decided to give it a go, when it arrived I was shocked on the detail and just the amount of extra cuteness this purse has. I loved it so much I had to order the bigger bag. Very nicely made and again, the detail is stunning. I love this purse too much. It is on the smaller side, keep that in mind and I'm sure you will also be satisfied.
