These gloves will protect your hands from nasty thorns. They are tough. However, the thumbs and fingers aren't placed correctly and are rather awkward and uncomfortable to wear for very long. I chose not to return them initially because I needed something right then. Whoever designed these doesn't have normally shaped hands. Thumbs simply aren't placed that high on the palm and not all fingers are the same length. Quality control should include trying them on.

These gloves do help but beware. The thorns still get through the gloves and bites you. They really help my arms not get so scratched up when I work in my rose garden.

These gloves work really well. The longer cuff is a nice feature to protect my arms. I have found them to be helpful for weeding my garden and removing nettles.

I got these for a costume and they were comfortable and look great. I had a mishap and had to pick up some broken glass and one piece did cut through the glove and into my finger.That is obviously not the purpose of these, so I didn’t want to take off stars. Just be mindful!

Great for trimming roses

Good gloved but aylt this time it is hard to be able to pick boysenberries because they are so stiff. Hard to grab vine and tie on to fence.

Great gloves for thorns

I bought these to help avoid needles while cutting cactus pads. I used to cut them off with a small knife, but these gloves are thick enough that I can just use my hands to twist off the pads. Some of the seams around the fingers look a little subpar. They fit snug, but loosen up the more you use them.Needles do still stick into the leather. It's easier to pick them out of the glove than your hands. After twisting off 80 pads or so 2 needles did managed to get through to my skin. I thought the needles would have gone through the subpar seams but they actually worked their way through the flat thick part of the leather gloves.They do the job, but aren't impervious.

Da ich eine exotischere Schlange besitze, die mich ungern in ihr Territorium lässt, hab ich mir zum Eigenschutz diese Handschuhe gekauft.Durch ihre Länge (fast kompletter Unterarm) und dicke ist somit für Schlangen kein/kaum durchkommen mehr möglich oder eben auch andere Tiere. Ich wurde bis jetzt noch nicht gebissen und hoffe das bleibt auch so, aber so kann mir im Notfall wenigstens nichts passieren.Die Qualität überzeugt ebenfalls und ist empfehlenswert und bestimmt auch für Gartenarbeiten:)

Maybe my blackberry bushes are just monsters, but these gloves did not keep the thorns out of my skin. Doubling them up with gardening gloves did work well, though, providing strong protection for hands and preventing scratching of forearms. So, worthwhile in the end.
