Sunny Health & Fitness Evo-Fit Cardio Recumbent Bike - SF-RB4954

My husband put it together, with no issues it was fairly easy. The recumbent bike is sturdy and does not wobble or make noise. The seat is very comfortable and I have back issues so this was important to me. It has various workout positions meaning you can work out at your level of fitness. Price was good not many bells and whistles but all you need to get some good exercise.

Fits my needs as an 88 year old male who still wants to be active.

Pedal straps do not accommodate muy shoes. Seat slide difficult at first but now see ms to work. Slide lock very ve ry stiff at first but seems ok now. Console control instructions unclear or insufficient. Bike itself works very well.

The directions are pretty clear except for assembly of stabilizers, and seat the screws are located on the product not in a package. Assembly took about 45 minutes to an hour, very simple. The seat and back are very soft and comfortable, and the seat adjusts great for my long legs. So far everything has performed flawlessly after a week, I will have to wait and see. So far great product, glad I got it, and would recommend it. January 3, 2024: The bike has performed flawlessly, I have put somewhere around 300 miles on it I am very pleased with my purchase.

after assembling I found that the pedals would not turn. Realizing that dissembling and getting this thing back into the box would be impossible. I removed the covers and quickly determined that the "break" was locked against the "flywheel" I looks like the control motor was not connected to the drive.I called Sunny Support 6 times over the course of 3 weeks. I sent pictures and they resolved the problem by sending a new motor, but they Never called back. What if the Customer is not as adept as I am to diagnose the fix the problem, realizing that returning was impossible. Essentially I was their FREE Field Service. One Star Rating is far too generous.Terrible Product and Awful SUPPORT !!

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this recumbent bike so I could augment my outdoors walking on bad days. Bike took about 1 hout to assemble. Very comfortable. Wish it was a smart version with Bluetooth link to Sunnyfit's excellent app. Had to buy the cadence sensor to get that function but once attached it works great.

The bike arrived in a large box with minor external damage. Nothing was missing or broken inside the box. The assembly instructions were clear. You must pay attention to the orientation of the parts before the assembly because it is hard to undo some assembly steps (like the orientation of the stem holding the handlebar). The assembled bike feels sturdy.I found that the pedals are too small for my sneakers. I wear sneakers size 12 wide. I contacted the seller, who recommended that I purchase larger pedals on Amazon. The pedals they recommended (1/2" spindle) fit perfectly, but I would have expected such an expensive exercise bike to come with a pair of larger pedals. The pedals I bought cost $23.99. They must cost much less to manufacture in large quantities. Note that my old Schwinn exercise bike had large pedals. I removed one star because of the pedals issue.The other serious problem with the bike is the heart rate display. I found that the heart rate display will often race up to show an extremely rapid heart rate (about 180 beats per minute). This happens without any warning. The heart rate will suddenly start increasing by 1-2 beats per minute every second regardless of my actual heart rate. It will stop increasing once it reaches 170-180 beats per second. It will even keep increasing for a few seconds once I remove my hands from the handles.The heart rate display reverts to the correct reading once I remove my hands from the handles for about 30 seconds until the heart icon stops blinking on the console and the heart rate display changes to "P". Holding the handles again will show the correct heart rate for some time until it decides to race up again. This is frustrating. I removed another start for this issue.Another problem with the bike is insufficient instructions for using the console. I guessed most of the functions. However, I found the hard way that the "reset" button is to be avoided unless you want to clear everything you set in the console. The manual must explain the function of this button, which it does not.Lastly, the operation of the pedals was not smooth in the first few hours of use. It was fixed by itself. I assume that it is the result of uneven oiling in the factory.

My daughters enjoy this machine as a finisher after a good workout and it has a frontal fan that is great as well.
