I’ve tried a bunch of rain coats and FINALLY found one that’s designed with common sense. The zipper is on the correct side (for men in USA). The coat is a light weight material and not too bulky or heavy like other rain coats. It can be packed into a small space. The hood is actually attached properly and not flapping around on your back. I’m 5’11” and the 3x size goes down almost to my ankles. It will keep your pants dry. I would recommend getting the 3x size so can wear it on top of another jacket. This rain coat hits all the check boxes. Would recommend.

This is a no frills rain coat that does what it should: keep the rain off. It's made of nylon-poly fabric with a rubber-like coating. It has a "rain proof" zipper along with a zipper-covering flap that fastens with metal snaps. The snaps are good quality that are easy to use and look like they'll last. There's a good size hood with a drawstring. There are two 6.5" by 7.5" pockets with flaps but no snaps. I'm 5' 9" and a medium fits me well. There is enough room for a bulky hoodie sweater.Overall, I gave this a rating of 4 stars. It didn't get the fifth star for several reasons. First of all, there are no vents, not in the arm pits, not along the upper back. The fabric is non breathing, so in warmer weather you're likely to get a bit sweaty if the coat's fully zipped. The pockets are simple patch pockets with no access to inside pockets. If you're in the rain digging for keys in your pants pockets you have to unzip or pull the coat up. There are no cord locks on the hood drawstring. If you want to tighten the hood opening you'll have to tie a knot and then untie it when you want out of the coat. The zipper does not have the option to partially open from the bottom. If you have a longer stride you may find the zipped coat a bit constraining due to coat's length. To be fair, you could not use the zipper and depend on the top three or four snaps.Overall I like this raincoat. It's not perfect, but none of its shortcomings are showstoppers.

This is the best raincoat I have ever owned! It is long, so it covers most of my legs. It has a zipper and buttons, so you can choose either. It is relatively lightweight, though made with a totally waterproof material to keep you dry, so you can wear it in warmer climates. I highly recommend this raincoat.

Not a bad style, good for being waterproof and it is very lightweight.Just remember it IS plastic, so if you overheat easily, this may not be the coat for you (because it doesn’t have airflow) if you’re outdoors a lot - and if you are rough on your clothing, it won’t hold up for long.I bought this KNOWING the above - so for me it works out fine - it’s a good “right now” coat while i save up to afford a better one.

I purchased this coat for a trip to London in September of 2024. I did not use it so I put it away for my next trip. Last week I took it to Paris and used it. The first time I used it and unsnapped the snaps most of them pulled through the fabric leaving holes where the soap bottoms used to be. Very disappointed. Now I have to get them repaired at a cost greater than the coat.
