May the Force be with you
This is such an awesome gift. I got this for my sister who is a major Star Wars fan but after I opened it I decided to keep it for my self. This little wooden music box is amazing. The box is painted/stained in black to give it a space sort of feel. The top open up revealing the insides of the music box but also "May the Force Be With You". It is an old school music box so you have to turn the handle which adds to its charm. The music is awesome and takes you right into the movies.

Pros: Giftable. Ever lasting. Nostalgic.Cons: None.This music box is very giftable but be mindful of the age the person is. He/She may not appreciate it as much you appreciate it.The box itself is nicely detailed for you to recognize Star Wars characters. The music thing inside seems solid and the loudness is great. You can actually make it more louder or echo-y if it’s placed on a flat surface since the sound will travel.The turning bar/wheel thing is smooth as it can be. I was worried that you may not know when the music ends but they added a few noticeable sounds to indicate it’s ending and also there is a pause before it starts over again.Overall good purchase and love having sit in my display area.

The World’s Tiniest Music Box!
I didn’t realize this was a music box for your child’s American Girl Dolls! Or maybe music for a tiny mouse?My point is that this is the smallest item I’ve ever purchased from Amazon. It’s a cute idea, but it is really far too small. It’s almost like a gag gift because of its size, not exactly the way we wanted to thank our children’s Star Wars loving teacher for their dedication in the face of a pandemic.Plus, it was broken, even screwing in everything didn’t really work, it rattles as well and makes a little “I’m broken” sound that you can hear as the theme plays. It also sloppily had glue all over the inside.Very cute idea though.

Nice little music box. When I say “little” I mean little. I knew it would be small but it’s literally tiny. I ordered this to put in our curio but when my wife saw how small it was she wouldn’t let me put it in the curio. So now it just sits in my office.The actual nightmare before Christmas emblem doesn’t look very good either.But the music box itself is cool, with the designs etched in the side. It would have been awesome if the nightmare before Christmas emblem was etched in like the designs on the side of the music box.Overall, cool purchase. Just wasn’t all that I hoped or imagined.

Could have been way better than what you receive
Not the best.. but it's quite. Very small. It doesn't wind up on its own if you preload it.. you have to keep spinning at a steady pace for it to play the song and you have to be very careful otherwise it'll be too slow or too fast and not sound like the song. (Tale as old as time). That's how small it is. As small as my charger block. It's cute for decoration once you open it, it says beauty and the beast.I don't think it's worth the $10.00.

Cute little gift
Okay, we got this as a fun little way to celebrate “may the 4th (be with you)” day lol... of course it didn’t come in time, thanks covid! It’s still cute and we are still nerds so we kept it anyway lol. We had fun playing the tune for our baby and spinning faster and slower to play with the tempo. He was entertained as well so we will keep in on stand by to pull it out for him from time to time (too fragile to just let him play with yet! LOL). I feel like these would make good little gift or even stocking stuffers at Christmas time too

In the garbage
This music box doesn’t work. Gears don’t line up. I tried to get a refund, but I’d have do way too much work to send it back, not worth my time for $8.We had a Star Wars one that worked well and my son loved it, but this one goes in the garbage I suppose.. unless I can enter some parallel universe with some crazy zen patience and get some toothpicks and needle and thread and try to repair this myself. Nah.
